I must have dropped my memory cards while walking near the Tyson Events Center on 4th Street in downtown Sioux City around 10:30 AM today. They hold irreplaceable photos from a family vacation and a lot of everyday moments we’d hate to lose. If you picked them up, please let me know through the site so we can arrange a safe handoff. These cards mean a lot to us, and any help in getting them back would mean the world.
On Tuesday around 4:20 p.m., I found a gray plastic set of organizers tucked beneath a bench along the riverwalk by the Sioux City Public Library. They’re small, with labeled compartments and a faint coffee stain on one corner, as if they'd spent a long afternoon in a backpack. I checked nearby and asked a couple of pedestrians, but no one claimed them, so I brought them to the bench near the river and left a note with this listing. I hope the real owner sees it soon and can collect their things—it feels good to help reunite someone with their stuff.
I realized around 7:40 PM on Tuesday that my remote controls were missing after I got home from work in Sioux City. I last used them while flipping through a news channel, and I must have left them on the coffee table, then wandered off. I retraced my steps from the East Village apartment to the Tyson Events Center parking lot, but no luck. Those remotes are small but priceless during late-night TV marathons, and I’m really hoping someone picked them up instead of leaving them behind. If found, I’d be grateful to get them back to the building staff at the front desk.
Found this blue-glazed porcelain fox sculpture this afternoon around 2:15pm, outside the Sioux City Art Center on 4th Street, near the entrance. It's about 8 inches tall, with a matte cobalt-blue glaze and delicate hand-painted fur details. The base has a tiny studio sticker that reads 'Studio Nine Pottery' and there's a small chip on the left ear that's barely noticeable unless you look closely. Overall it's in good condition and clearly one-of-a-kind. If you think this could be yours, I’m happy to hold onto it and help get it back to you.
I lost my solid oak coffee table last night around 8pm near the downtown library on 4th Street in Sioux City. It's a 46-inch long, 20-inch wide, 18-inch tall mid-century style piece with a warm honey oak finish and a sunburst inlay on the tabletop. There’s a small 1-inch scratch on the front edge and a missing felt pad from the back-left leg, plus the underside has initials 'R.S.' carved into the wood - an easy identifying detail. It means a lot to me because it was a gift from my grandmother, and I really need it back to complete family dinners and study space.
I lost my sterling silver necklace yesterday around 3pm. It's an 18-inch chain with a small heart pendant, and the back is engraved with 'R.L.' in neat letters; there's a tiny blue gemstone on the heart that catches the light. I think I had it after leaving the Tyson Events Center area on 4th Street, walking toward Main Street; I retraced my steps along the sidewalk but couldn't find it. This necklace means a lot to me—it was a gift from my grandmother—and I'm really hoping someone picked it up or found it nearby. If you found it near downtown Sioux City, please drop me a message; I’d be forever grateful.
