Lost a Chevy key fob, Saturday evening in Sioux City. Gamestop, Freddy's, Target, Barnes and Nobles, and Scheels. Has a silicone cover like the one pictured.
I lost my hoops at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, sitting on a bench outside the Tyson Events Center in downtown Sioux City after a high-school game. They’re the only pair I wear to practice, and they were a gift from my sister, which makes them feel extra special. I retraced my steps, spoke with a couple of staff members, and left a note at the arena information desk. I’m really hoping someone picked them up and will hand them back to me.
At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, I was rushing out of the Tyson Events Center lobby in downtown Sioux City after a client meeting and must have left my two black leather work cases on a chair by the entrance. One case is larger, with a red conference tag; the other has a dent on the corner and a sticker from a design firm. Inside are notes, a laptop charger, a leather notebook, and a USB drive containing draft contracts. I’m anxious about the documents in there and the personal sketches I’ve been using for weeks. I keep replaying the moment I stood up and headed toward the riverfront, hoping someone picked them up and saved them for me.
I found travel bags near the Sioux City Public Library on Court Street, right by the riverfront, this morning around 8:45 a.m. They are two large black rolling bags with a blue tag and a faded sticker from a summer trip. I carried them inside the library and left them at the lost-and-found desk, hoping the owner would see this post and claim them soon. Traveling can be stressful, and I’d want someone to do the same for me if I were in that spot.
Last Friday around 7:15 p.m., I was walking along the Missouri Riverfront and headed into the Tyson Events Center parking lot after a quick dog walk. I had taken off my two collars to adjust the tags and must have left them on the bench or in the back seat. I realized they were missing when I reached the car, and it's the only thing I care about now. The collars are blue with tiny silver tags and a small paw-print charm.
At about 6:15 PM yesterday, I found a pair of saxophones left on a bench by the Sioux City Riverfront Park, near the 4th Street crossing. The brass gleamed as the sunset faded, tucked inside a padded gig bag with a dented bell case beside it. I didn’t see any name tag, just a sticker from a local music shop and a few reeds rattling inside. I brought them to a safe spot and hoped the owner would recognize them by the serials or engraved initials when they search. It feels awful to see someone lose something so personal, and I want to help reunite these instruments with their owner.
