At about 6:15 PM yesterday, I found a pair of saxophones left on a bench by the Sioux City Riverfront Park, near the 4th Street crossing. The brass gleamed as the sunset faded, tucked inside a padded gig bag with a dented bell case beside it. I didn’t see any name tag, just a sticker from a local music shop and a few reeds rattling inside. I brought them to a safe spot and hoped the owner would recognize them by the serials or engraved initials when they search. It feels awful to see someone lose something so personal, and I want to help reunite these instruments with their owner.

Hi, I'm Noah Peterson. I found a violin outside the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Sioux City around 4:30 PM today. Found parrots near Riverside Park, Sioux City

This afternoon around 4:10 PM, I found two parrots wandering near the duck pond at Riverside Park in Sioux City. They hopped from bench to bench, chirping and tilting their heads as people smiled at them. One parrot has a bright green body with blue wing feathers; the other is yellow with a red tail and a curious gaze. Blue-glazed porcelain fox sculpture found near Sioux City Art Center

Found this blue-glazed porcelain fox sculpture this afternoon around 2:15pm, outside the Sioux City Art Center on 4th Street, near the entrance. It's about 8 inches tall, with a matte cobalt-blue glaze and delicate hand-painted fur details. The base has a tiny studio sticker that reads 'Studio Nine Pottery' and there's a small chip on the left ear that's barely noticeable unless you look closely. Overall it's in good condition and clearly one-of-a-kind. If you think this could be yours, I’m happy to hold onto it and help get it back to you.
