I lost my black Samsonite briefcase yesterday around 3pm outside the Safeway on Main Street in Susanville. It’s a medium-size, leather-like case with a slightly scuffed surface and a latch that’s a bit loose. On the back there’s a white sticker with the initials 'JM' in blue marker, and inside you’ll find a well-worn brown notebook, a USB-C drive, and a stack of papers with my name on them. This briefcase means a lot to me—it was a gift from my late aunt and holds some personal documents I can’t replace. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back.
I lost my blue metal toolbox yesterday around 3pm behind the Ace Hardware on Main Street in Susanville. It's an 18-inch Craftsman toolbox with a yellow plastic handle and a small dent on the lid. There’s a white sticker on the front that says 'R7' and inside I had a black hammer and a red-handled screwdriver. It means a lot to me because it was my dad's old set and I really need it back—please reach out if you spotted it around that area.
I lost my crested gecko yesterday around 4:15pm after cleaning the terrarium. It's a small gecko with a cream body and orange speckles, about 4 inches long including the tail. It has a blue spot behind its left eye and a faint white dorsal stripe along its back. I last saw it near the Safeway on Main Street in Susanville, and I think it slipped into a shrub by the entrance or maybe under a parked car. This gecko is a gift from my sister and has sentimental value—it's really special to me. If anyone finds him, shoot me a message—really need him back.
I lost my blue Ty Beanie Boo dragon plush yesterday around 3:30pm near the Safeway on Main Street in downtown Susanville. The toy is about 8 inches tall, with soft royal-blue fur, a light blue belly, and shiny silver wings stitched on. There’s a tiny red heart stitched on the right paw and a small scuff on the left ear from lots of hugs. It’s in pretty good shape overall. It’s sentimental to my kiddo — it was a gift from grandma and helps us calm down at bedtime. If anyone finds it, please text me; we’d really appreciate getting it back for storytime tonight.
I lost my red guitar capo yesterday around 3pm near the Susanville Public Library on Roop Street. It's a Kyser-style capo, bright red with black rubber padding and a slightly worn chrome hinge. It sits in a small black pouch and has a tiny dent on the clamp from a stumble last week; there's also a faint pencil mark 'PR' inside the pouch. This capo is essential for my practice—it's the one I use for most songs, and it has sentimental value since I bought it with my first guitar. If someone finds it, I'd really appreciate getting it back.
I found a gold-tone bracelet this afternoon around 3:15pm in front of the Lassen County Courthouse on Nevada Street in Susanville. It's a slim, 6-inch bracelet with a tiny heart charm and a discreet engraving of the initials 'AM' on the clasp. The metal shows a few light scratches, but otherwise it's in good shape. I picked it up off the sidewalk near the fountain after I saw someone maybe drop it while crossing the street. If it's yours or you know who it belongs to, please get in touch—I’d really like to see it go back to its owner.
Found a paperback copy of The Great Gatsby this afternoon around 2:45pm behind the Susanville Public Library on Main Street. It's a blue paperback edition with gold lettering, a small coffee stain on the edge of page 23, and the spine is creased from use. Inside, there's a dog-eared bookmark shaped like a paw print sticking out, and the back cover has a faded sticker that says 'Library discard'—it's clear it's been read a few times but still in decent shape. If this belongs to you, drop me a line and we can arrange a meetup near the library bench.
I found a DeWalt 20V cordless drill this morning around 10:15am in the parking lot behind Ace Hardware on Main Street in Susanville. It's the classic yellow and black design with a 2.0Ah battery attached. The drill body has a couple of scratches and a small dent near the chuck, and there’s blue painter’s tape on the handle with the initials JR written in black Sharpie. It looks like it's seen some worksite use but still in solid condition. If this is yours, drop me a note here and we’ll figure out a pickup in Susanville.
I found a queen-sized quilt cover set this morning around 10:15 in the parking lot behind Safeway on Main Street in Susanville. It's ivory and made of a cotton-poly blend, with a delicate blue leaf pattern and matching pillowcases. The set looks gently used, no stains, but there's a small navy monogram 'LJ' stitched inside the inner seam, and the CozyNest tag is still attached. I picked it up because it was left on a cart and clearly belonged to someone who just shopped; I'm keeping it safe in my car for now. If this matches your bedding, reply here and we can figure out pickup.
I found a black Hamilton Beach 4-cup coffee maker with a glass carafe this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Safeway on Main Street in Susanville, near the bike racks by the loading dock. It's in good shape but dusty, with a small chip on the lip of the carafe and a faded sticker on the bottom showing the initials 'M.K.' The unit has a red indicator light and a straightforward white control panel. It clearly looks like something many folks rely on every day, and I’d love to see it go back to its owner—if you recognize this setup, send me a note so we can reunite you with it.
