I was at the Susanville Public Library on Main Street around 6:15 p.m. last Friday, and I swung by my apartment on South Weatherlow Street to grab a jacket before heading out again. When I got home, my remote controls were gone from the couch cushions where I always leave them. The living room is small, with a striped rug and a cozy lamp, and losing the remotes threw off my whole evening. If anyone saw them in the hallway, lobby, or stairwell, please reach out—I’m hoping they simply wandered off and someone tucked them away for safekeeping.
