I found a couple of sculptures behind a studio space near Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding this morning around 9:15 a.m. I was walking back from a coffee run on Market Street when I noticed two metallic sculptures leaning against a loading door behind a storefront. They look like abstract pieces, about two feet tall, with a weathered patina that hints at years outdoors. I didn't want them left out in the rain, so I kept watch and tried to figure out where they belonged. If the owner or artist sees this, I hope they are reunited soon.
I was walking through downtown Redding on Saturday around 4:30 p.m., near the Sundial Bridge at Riverfront Park, when a gusty breeze yanked my bag from under my arm and my Breeds folder slipped out, and I knew it was LOST. I kept circling the grassy knoll and the small kiosk by the bike path because the folder had my dogs' registration papers and a few photos tucked inside. I retraced along the Sacramento River Trail, from the cafe by the trailhead to the overlook, but I couldn’t find it. These papers are everything to me; please keep an eye out for a gray tote with a folder labeled Breeds.
I was at the Sundial Bridge area by Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding around 7:15 PM on Saturday when I realized my dresses were gone. They were a navy blue sheath dress and a light pink floral dress, both medium size, tucked in a tote I left in my car. The thought of losing them hits me hard—the blue one is a vintage piece my grandmother wore to the county fair, and the pink one was my go-to for work events. If you’ve seen them, I’d be grateful to hear through the site.
LOST: Today around 4:30 p.m., I realized my GPS devices were missing from my backpack while walking the Sacramento River Trail toward the Sundial Bridge in Redding, California. The devices include two GPS units and a charging cable; they're essential for my fieldwork, helping me map river habitats. I'd stopped at the overlook beneath the bridge to jot notes and must have left them on the bench by the trail map. I'm anxious and miss them; without them I'm floundering on my rounds and running late to appointments. If you spotted them around the Sundial Bridge or along the river trail, please let the site know.
I was at 3:55 PM on Saturday, near the Sundial Bridge overlooking the Sacramento River, sorting a binder of trading cards at a park bench by Turtle Bay Exploration Park. A gust dragged the pages and my cards spilled, and by the time I stood up they were gone. The collection includes a few holo cards and an older set from my grandfather; it’s priceless to me. I'm really hoping someone found them and will return them through the site so I can keep making new memories with them.
Last Saturday around 3:15 p.m., I was at Coffee Corner on Market Street in downtown Redding and somehow left a stack of CDs in the tote by the window. The white cases have a red heart sticker and cover a mix of classic rock and indie tunes I’ve carried for years. I realized they were missing after I walked toward the Sundial Bridge for a quick photo, and the moment felt oddly wrong. If anyone found them, please know they mattered to me and I’d be grateful to have them back.
