I found a couple of sculptures behind a studio space near Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding this morning around 9:15 a.m. I was walking back from a coffee run on Market Street when I noticed two metallic sculptures leaning against a loading door behind a storefront. They look like abstract pieces, about two feet tall, with a weathered patina that hints at years outdoors. I didn't want them left out in the rain, so I kept watch and tried to figure out where they belonged. If the owner or artist sees this, I hope they are reunited soon.

I found a small black tote bag this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Sundial Bridge along the riverfront trail in Downtown Redding. The bag is about the size of a tablet, made of slick nylon with a bright pink satin lining that peeks out when you unzip the top. There's a tiny silver compass charm on the zipper pull and an embroidered fox on the outside pocket. I tucked it into my backpack for safekeeping and figured someone might be frantically looking for it; it looks well-loved but not torn up. They’re size 9, with a breathable mesh upper and bright electric blue accents; the left shoe has a small green paint dot on the heel and a tiny nickname 'Nova' written in black marker on the inside tongue.
