I lost my blue US passport yesterday around 3pm. It slipped out of my tote while I was grabbing a coffee outside the Humboldt County Courthouse on 5th Street in Eureka, near Old Town. The cover is navy blue with the gold seal; inside you will see my photo page and some Canadian visa stamps, just to know it is mine. There's a coffee ring on the bottom corner of the cover and a tiny crease along the back. This passport is essential for upcoming travel, and I would be grateful to get it back.
Yesterday around 3pm I was busking near Arcata Plaza in Humboldt County when my Meinl Cajón in natural wood vanished from my setup. It's about 12 inches tall with a few scratches on the front panel and a small dent on the lower left corner. The back panel has a tiny blue palm-tree sticker and the leather strap is frayed. It was a gift from my dad, and it means a lot to me; I used it for gigs and practice, and I really need to get it back. If you found it, please email me at [email protected]. Thanks.
I lost my Black Zoom H4n Pro portable recorder yesterday around 3pm near the Humboldt State University Library on Harpst Street. It's black, with a red windscreen on the built-in mic, and it lives in a black Pelican-case with a dent on the corner. On the bottom, there’s a small pine-tree sticker I stuck there last year, and I also tucked a blue microfiber cleaning cloth inside the case. This recorder is my primary tool for field interviews and recordings for a project, so I’m really hoping to get it back; any lead would be hugely appreciated. If you find it, please text me or email me—thank you.
I'm Priya Patel, posting for my friend Diego Marin, a 28-year-old man about 6'2" with a lean build. He has short black hair, a light beard, and a small compass tattoo on his left forearm, plus a faint scar above his left eyebrow. He was last seen yesterday around 3pm wearing an orange hoodie and dark jeans, carrying a bright blue backpack with a yellow stripe. We were in Old Town Eureka near the Humboldt County Courthouse on Fourth Street, then he headed toward the Boardwalk along the waterfront and never came back. I'm really worried because he needs his meds and there are important documents in that backpack. If you see him, you can reach me at [email protected].
I lost my yellow DeWalt 20V cordless drill yesterday around 3pm in the Bayshore Mall parking lot behind Eureka, Humboldt County. The drill has a black rubber grip with a tiny crack near the trigger, and it runs on two batteries. It came in a black hard case with a red zipper, and I stuck a white label with the initials AH on the battery so it's easy to spot. It has sentimental value—it was a gift from my late grandfather, and I really need it back to finish some home repairs. If you found it, email [email protected].
I found a blue ceramic mixing bowl this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the Humboldt Co-op on 4th Street in Eureka. It's a 2-quart bowl with a glossy glaze and a tiny chip along the rim that’s noticeable up close. The wooden spoon that came with it is a little worn and has a coffee stain near the handle. On the bottom there’s a faded sticker that reads 'M.S. Nguyen,' which is a pretty distinct identifying mark. If this belongs to you, I’d love to help get it back; we can meet up at the Co-op or arrange a pickup to make it easy to claim.
I found a pair of blue Nike swim shorts yesterday around 3pm on the Eureka Boardwalk in Humboldt County, near Fisherman’s Wharf. They’re men’s size L, navy with bright orange piping and a white drawstring; the Nike swoosh is on the left leg and there’s a small yellow silicone fish keychain clipped to the loop. They’re in good used condition, just a little salty from the bay air. If you think these might be yours, I’m hoping to help reunite you—we can meet up somewhere in Old Town Eureka.
I found a cordless drill yesterday around 3pm in the parking lot behind the Safeway on Broadway in Eureka. It's a yellow-and-black DeWalt 20V drill, with a slightly scuffed rubber grip and a blue painter's tape label with the initials 'JD' on the handle. The battery looks like a 1.5Ah pack that still holds a decent charge, and the black case has a dent in the corner where it bumped the curb. If the owner recognizes these details, I'd love to get it back to them—it's clearly someone's work tool and would be nice to reunite with its owner.
Found a blue hardcover novel this afternoon around 2:45pm outside the Bayshore Mall in Eureka, right near the transit center behind the big red sculpture. The cover is a deep royal blue with gold lettering along the spine and a small embossed moon on the front. Inside, there’s a purple tassel bookmark and a pressed flower tucked between pages, plus a library barcode sticker on the back cover. The title reads 'The Night Circus' by Erin Morgenstern, so it should be easy to spot on a shelf. If you know this book belongs to you, DM me here so we can arrange pickup nearby in Humboldt County.
I found a silver bracelet this afternoon around 3:15 pm on the sidewalk outside the Arcata Plaza, near the clock tower on G Street in Arcata, Humboldt County. It's a 7-inch silver-tone mesh bracelet, no brand visible, with a small blue glass bead charm and a tiny compass pendant tucked into the links. The bracelet shows light scratches from wear but is otherwise in good condition. A couple of unique features: a tiny etched heart on the clasp and a faint engraving inside the band that reads 'M+J'. I'd love to help reunite it with its owner—if this sounds like yours, tell me what the engraving says and roughly when you think you might have lost it.
