I lost my yellow DeWalt 20V cordless drill in a black and yellow hard case yesterday around 3pm near Drake University on University Ave at 25th St in Des Moines. It's the compact XR model, about 7 inches long, with a scuffed grip and a small dent near the chuck. The battery is a gray 20V XR with a blue label, and the case has my initials 'PN' on a circular sticker. This drill is my go-to for home repairs and projects, and it's really needed back because it's essential for finishing up a few ongoing repairs. It's a compact, matte black thing about the size of a small paperback, with a sturdy metal ring and a tiny brass compass keychain clipped to the outside. The inner card slot is engraved with my initials 'A.H.' and there’s a faint coffee stain along the bottom edge. It holds my apartment keys and my office fob, and it means a lot to me because it was a gift from my mom. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate returning it—this set is how I get in and out of my apartment every day.
Found a black leather handbag this afternoon around 4:15 pm along Grand Avenue near the Des Moines Central Library. I found a pair of gray Nike running sneakers this morning around 10:15am on Court Avenue in Des Moines, outside the East Village by the riverfront bike racks. They’re gray mesh with a neon lime heel tab and a slightly scuffed white sole. The right shoe has a bright blue lace threaded through, while the left is the standard gray. I found a black leather briefcase on the sidewalk close to the downtown library in Des Moines yesterday afternoon. It looks like it belongs to a businessman, as it has a name tag inside that says 'John Smith'. The briefcase is in great condition with a few unique stickers on the front. I found a black leather bifold wallet on a bench next to the Starbucks on 8th Street last Saturday afternoon. It has several cards inside, including a driver's license and a couple of credit cards. There looks to be a family photo tucked in one of the pockets as well. I would really like to return it to its owner, as the wallet seems to have sentimental value.
