Lost remote controls in Des Moines, by the State Capitol
I realized at 9:10 p.m. last Friday that my remote controls were missing from the living room. I had left them on the coffee table in my apartment off Grand Avenue, Des Moines, right by the State Capitol, after we finished a movie. Not having a working remote has made evenings feel unsettled, especially in a small apartment where the living room is the main hangout. If someone found them and tucked them somewhere safe, Iād be grateful to have them back.
Lost memory cards near Pappajohn Sculpture Park, Des Moines
While wrapping up a shoot at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Des Moines around 2:15 p.m. today, I realized my camera bag with memory cards wasn't where it should be. The bag is a slim black pouch with a red zipper, and inside are two SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB cards and a 32GB card, plus a tiny USB reader. I had set it down near the Des Moines River trail by the park's entrance while I adjusted the tripod. For me, those cards hold weeks of RAW files from my latest project, and losing them stings. Iām hoping someone who found them kept them safe.

I found a black portable Bluetooth speaker laying near the fountain in Central Park while I was out for a walk yesterday. It looks almost new and seems to be in great condition. I'd love to return it to its owner, so if you can describe it, please let me know!
