When I looked back, they were gone. Inside were my grocery haul, a sturdy reusable tote, and a small gift I’d planned to wrap tonight. I retraced through the mall, checked the escalators, the food court, and the front desk area near Kennedy Plaza, but nothing turned up. My heart sank, and I’m trying not to panic.
