I was in the Coventry Cathedral area yesterday around 3pm and my red Yamaha Stage Custom snare drum disappeared from my practice setup near Priory Street by the bus stop. It's a 14-inch steel-shell snare with a red wrap, a couple of light scratches, and a small dent near the edge. The chrome lugs shine, and I added a blue fox sticker on the shell as an identifying mark; the drumhead is a bit stretched but still playable. It means a lot to me—it's how I keep my gig prep and it was a gift from my uncle. If anyone found it, I'd really appreciate getting it back!
I lost my blue-gray shag area rug yesterday around 3pm. It was in my Coventry flat and I think I last saw it in the hallway outside my flat near the Belgrade Theatre on Belgrade Square. It's about 5 by 8 feet, soft underfoot, with a coffee stain along the top edge and one corner a little frayed. It's one of those little comforts that makes the living room feel home after a long shift, and it has sentimental value to me. If anyone finds it, please drop me a note here—I’d really appreciate getting it back.
I lost a black leather wallet around 12pm around Coventry train station containing 2x bank cards, drivers license and a military ID. I lost it on 7th April. (Offering £150 reward)
Lost 2 X hook earrings Bardic symbol circle & square. Silver Visited the cathedral, Primark & a general wander about.
I lost my burgundy UK passport yesterday around 3pm near Coventry Cathedral, while weaving through people on Priory Street. It was inside a navy travel wallet with a thin white spine stripe. The passport is in decent condition, but the bottom-right corner has a small bend and there's a tiny scuff along the cover. Inside the wallet, I kept a visa appointment sticker on the back cover that might help you identify it. This passport is essential for my trip next week, and I’m really hoping someone who found it will hand it in or contact me.
I found a blue Penguin Classics hardcover mystery novel this morning around 9:15am near the Belgrade Theatre on Belgrade Square in Coventry. The cover is bright blue with gold lettering and the spine is a tad creased from prior reads. Inside, there’s a red silk bookmark sticking out between pages, and a small pencil doodle of a ship on the inside cover with a tiny date note tucked under the flap. The book seems in decent condition for a well-loved read. It feels like someone would be really glad to get it back, especially if it held sentimental value. If this is yours, please reach out so I can arrange returning it.
I found a black Anker Bluetooth speaker with a matte finish. It's roughly the size of a paperback, about 6 inches long, and the sound is surprisingly clear. It has a lime green sticker on the bottom reading 'NA-204' and a small dent on the top left corner from a gentle tumble. I found it this afternoon around 2:30 pm outside the Co-op Food on Market Way by West Orchards in Coventry. The speaker was sitting on the pavement beside a bench near the bus stop, still powered on when I checked. If this belongs to someone, I’d be glad to help return it to the rightful owner.
I found a sunburst soprano ukulele this afternoon around 2:15pm in Market Square near Coventry Cathedral. It's in decent condition, with a couple of stickers on the body—one reads 'Sunny' in yellow and there’s a tiny rainbow sticker on the side. It has a blue strap attached and the strings still feel fresh, though the neck shows a little wear from play. I figured someone must be missing it after a quick busking session nearby, so I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner. If this is yours, share a detail like the sticker wording or the brand to confirm.
Found a silver 10-hole harmonica lying on the pavement outside the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry this afternoon around 2:15pm. It's a compact metal instrument with a brushed finish, about 7 cm long, and there are a few light scratches along the top edge from being in a bag. It came with a small black fabric pouch—on the zipper pull is engraved 'S.R.' and there’s a tiny dent on the bottom corner of the pouch. It looks well cared-for and someone might be missing it as a sentimental piece. If this is yours, I’d be glad to return it to you; the initials on the pouch are a good clue.
I found a framed abstract painting this afternoon around 4:15pm, left on the pavement outside the Belgrade Theatre on Belgrade Plaza in Coventry City Centre. It's about 40x50 cm, in a dark walnut wood frame with a cream mat, and the artwork features soft pinks and blues with a bold orange arc sweeping across the canvas. On the back there is a small circular sticker with the initials KM and the year 2023, plus a faint Studio L label. It looks well cared for, though the frame has a couple of light scuffs. If it's yours, I'd be glad to help reunite you.
