Found equipment for various sports in Cumberland.
I was walking along the C&O Canal Towpath by Canal Place in Cumberland around 4:10 PM on Sunday when I spotted a tote filled with gear for various sports. Inside were a few knee pads, a spare tennis racket, a couple of gym bags, and some cleats, all mixed together like someone had dumped them after practice. I can imagine how easy it is to lose a bag of equipment during a busy day outdoors. I’ve kept the items in a safe spot here, hoping the owner will recognize them.
Lost stamps in Western Maryland, help please
I lost my stamp collection, and I’m hoping it turns up. My name is Maya Collins, and last Friday at 5:30 PM I realized a few stamps were missing from the album I keep on the shelf by the window at the Washington County Library, downtown Hagerstown. The set includes a red 1910 commemorative and a small strip of green issues, worn from years of handling. I last touched the album near the window by the cafe and then walked out toward the C&O Canal Trail. These stamps were my grandfather's and carry memories of summers spent along the canal. I’m trying not to panic, but I’d be grateful for any hint through the site about their whereabouts.
Blue dragon plush with yellow belly and squeaker
Hey, I lost my daughter's blue dragon plush toy yesterday around 3pm outside the Valley Mall in Hagerstown, near the Target entrance. It's about 12 inches tall, super soft blue fabric with a bright yellow belly, white horns, and a tiny red ribbon tied around its neck. There's a small patch on the belly that says 'Lucky Dragon' and a slight tear on the left wing—makes it easy to spot. It’s well-loved and was a gift from grandma, so my kiddo is really upset and we’d love to have it back.
