I found a dented metal toolbox behind the downtown hardware store on Main Street in Waterloo / Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States, around 7:25 pm last Friday. Inside were power tools: a blue-handled drill, a circular saw, and a bag of bits, all dusty from months of work. I left them near the Cedar River Trailhead by the Market Street Bridge, hoping someone will recognize them. It felt good to help out after imagining how a home renovation might stall without them.

Iām posting this after realizing my radios are missing. I last had them while crossing College Square in Cedar Falls around 8:15 p.m. last Friday, on the way back from the library. They are compact handheld units, black with a silver face and a small crack on one corner. They mattered to me beyond their value ā they were a gift from my dad and they help me stay connected when I am out on calls. I retraced my steps and asked everyone I passed, but no luck so far. If someone finds them, I would be grateful to have them back and keep them in the family.
