I found a dented metal toolbox behind the downtown hardware store on Main Street in Waterloo / Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States, around 7:25 pm last Friday. Inside were power tools: a blue-handled drill, a circular saw, and a bag of bits, all dusty from months of work. I left them near the Cedar River Trailhead by the Market Street Bridge, hoping someone will recognize them. It felt good to help out after imagining how a home renovation might stall without them.
