I checked inside and found Equipment for Various Sports—a tennis racket, a football, a jump rope, and a dusty pair of trainers—with chalk on the zipper and a gym towel tucked in the pocket. There was no name tag, just a faint hint of grass and sweat. It reminded me how easy it is to misplace something important after a busy day of errands, so I kept it safe and handed it to the staff at the Oxford University Sports Centre, hoping the owner would see this listing and claim it soon.
