Found yellow-crested cockatiel with blue tail
Found a yellow-crested cockatiel this afternoon around 3:15 pm near the Safeway on the Sterling Highway in Soldotna, Kenai Peninsula. It's the size of about a palm, green body with a bright yellow head and orange cheek patches, plus blue-tinted tail feathers. It also wears a light gray leg band stamped 'AZ-7'—one of those little identifiers. The feathers look clean and well-kept, but the bird is a bit skittish. I know this is someone's pet and I'd feel relieved to reunite it with its owner; if this is yours, please reach out with a description of the band and patches.
Red leash with blue paw-print collar found
I found a red nylon dog leash and a blue paw-print collar this morning around 7:30am near the Safeway on Kalifornsky Beach Road in Soldotna, Kenai Peninsula. The leash is about six feet long, with a reflective stripe and a sturdy metal clasp that's a bit scratched from use. The collar is light blue with white paw prints and a small stainless tag engraved with the name 'Milo.' There are also faint dirt smudges on the leash from a morning out in the frost. If this belongs to your dog, we can arrange a meetup in the Safeway parking lot around noon today to return it.

Our beloved golden retriever, Max, went missing while we were hiking around the Kenai Peninsula last weekend. He has a bright red collar with a tag that has our contact information. If you see him, he’s very friendly and loves to play fetch. We miss him dearly and hope he’s safe!
Found a small bright green tree frog near a trail in Kenai Peninsula.
I found a small, bright green tree frog sitting by the edge of a trail while hiking in the Kenai Peninsula last Saturday. It seems a bit disoriented, and I couldn't see how it could have escaped from anywhere. I took a few pictures and tried to see if it had any tags or markings, but it appears to be a wild frog. If someone has lost their pet frog or knows how to care for it, please reach out!
Found small brown bunny with white chest patch in Kenai Peninsula park.
I found a small, friendly brown bunny hopping around in the Kenai Peninsula park yesterday afternoon. It seemed a little lost and scared, but very curious. It has a white patch on its chest and appears to be well-fed. I'm worried someone might be missing their pet, so I'm hoping to reunite it with its owner.
