Found kittens in Kenai Peninsula, Alaska

I found two tiny kittens huddled behind a snowbank outside the Safeway in Soldotna along the Kenai Spur Highway at 7:23 p.m. on Saturday. One is gray with a white chest, the other a softer tabby; both eyes just opening, noses pink as a button. A passerby looked anxious, maybe a parent calling for them, and I could feel the worry in the air. It struck me how fragile a moment is when a pet disappears in the cold, and I kept them warm in a light blanket until I could ensure they’d be seen by someone who could help.

Lost wrist watches in Kenai Peninsula

I lost my two wrist watches this afternoon. One is a silver dress watch with a blue face, the other a rugged black sports watch—the kinds I reach for during long days on the water. I had them with me at the Soldotna Boat Launch along the Kenai River around 3:05 PM on Tuesday, after a quick coffee at a small shop on Main Street. The air smelled like pine and salt, and the boardwalk was busy with locals and visitors. I’ve searched the benches and along the railing, but I can’t shake the fear they’re gone. They’re not just timepieces; they’re memories. If you’ve found them, please reach out through the site.

Lost pins on Kenai Peninsula

Hi, I’m Sophie Bennett. I lost a small bag of enamel pins during a morning walk along the Homer Spit on the Kenai Peninsula, around 9:45 AM on Sunday. The pins are a mix of bears, pine trees, and a vintage camera, all on a compact badge back that makes a little clink when I move. They mean a lot to me because they were gifts from friends and a reminder of recent travels. If anyone picked them up, please know they’re cherished and I hope they can be rehomed with the person who wore them last.

Lost USB drives in Kenai Peninsula.

I was walking through Soldotna Creek Park along the Kenai River at 5:40 p.m. yesterday when I realized my USB drives were missing from my backpack. They are small, with one in a blue plastic case and the other in a black one; they contain work files and some personal photos, so I am anxious to recover them. I retraced my steps along the boardwalk, checked under benches, and asked a few visitors if they would have seen them, but nothing turned up. I'm hoping posting here will help bring them back to me soon, before the information on them is missed.

Found swimsuits in Kenai Peninsula, Alaska.

I was strolling the Homer Spit boardwalk at about 9:40 AM on Saturday when a bright tote stuck out from the sand near the Seafarer's Memorial. Inside were two swimsuits, a towel, and a pair of goggles—clearly someone had been beach-combing and left them as the tide came in. I picked up the tote and stood by the railing for a moment, hoping the owner would recognize the gear and claim it soon. It felt good to do the right thing up here, where people look out for each other during long summer days.

lost keyboards near Homer Spit

I lost my keyboards after a small outdoor gig near the Homer Spit boardwalk around 2:18 PM yesterday. I left two black keyboard cases on the bench beside my gear while I stepped to grab water. They’re essential for my practice and shows around the Kenai Peninsula, and I’m anxious about making it through rehearsal without them. If you happened to pick them up, I’d be incredibly grateful to have them back.

Found hoops outside Soldotna Safeway

Hi, I’m Mason Reed. Tonight, around 8:10 pm, I found a pair of hoops on the sidewalk outside the Soldotna Safeway, under the parking-lot light in Soldotna on the Kenai Peninsula. They looked simple and well-loved, with a tiny charm that suggests they’re worn often. I figured they probably belong to someone, so I tucked them away in a safe spot to keep them from getting stepped on and to reach the owner here. If these hoops are yours, you’ll know them by the small charm and the wear on the gold tone. I hope they find their way home.

Lost paintings near Soldotna harbor, Kenai Peninsula

Hi, I’m Ava Jensen. I was painting by the Soldotna harbor on the Kenai Peninsula around 3:30 p.m. last Sunday when a gust knocked my portable easel and the two oil paintings toppled into the grass. I scurried along the waterfront park by the harbor but the pieces disappeared. They’re small but meaningful: one depicts a snow-dusted mountain, the other a sunset over the inlet. Any word on their whereabouts would mean the world to me.

Lost travel adapters in Soldotna, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska

I realized my travel adapters were missing at 6:40 p.m. Friday after I grabbed a coffee on Main Street in Soldotna. The set is a compact black case with three outlets and a red stripe, perfect for charging a laptop and phone on the go. I retraced my steps along the Kenai Riverfront Park path and around the quaint shops near Main Street, but they weren’t there. Losing them on this trip would throw off every plan, since I rely on them for work and photos. I’m hoping someone nearby might have picked them up and kept them safe; I’ll be grateful to see them reunited through the site.

Lost shopping bags on the Kenai Peninsula

I'm Ava Johnson, and I lost my shopping bags somewhere on the Kenai Peninsula. Friday evening, around 6:15 PM, I was loading groceries in the Soldotna Shopping Center parking lot when the wind picked up and the bags tumbled out of sight. One bag is black with a red logo, the other is blue with a stripe—both were full of groceries and a small reusable tote I treasure. I searched the nearby aisles and peered under cars, but the lot went quiet and the bags vanished. I'm hoping someone picked them up and set them aside, so I can grab them when I'm next in town.

found power tools near Pratt Museum, Homer

I was walking along Sterling Street toward the harbor in Homer when I found a toolbox and a cordless drill sitting unattended outside the Pratt Museum around 2:15 PM last Sunday. The tools look well-used but functional, with a few stickers peeling off and no obvious owner name. I’ve kept them safe and dry since then, hoping the rightful owner will see this post and reclaim them through the site. If these are yours, please let the site know so we can arrange a proper handoff.

lost sheet music near Kenai Riverfront Park, please help.

On Friday at 4:15 p.m., I was strolling along the Kenai Riverfront Park boardwalk and paused to tie my shoe. I forgot to zip the tote, and when I reached the bench a minute later, the sheet music binder was gone. It’s a small book of pieces my late aunt loved, with a red cover labeled 'Spring Recital' and a few ragged pages. The wind off the river carried the notes away, and I keep picturing her smile when she heard those tunes. I’ve asked around the Kenai Visitor Center and along the boardwalk, but nothing yet. If you found them, please tell the site.

LOST microwave on Kenai Peninsula

LOST microwave on the Kenai Peninsula. I cannot shake the feeling I left it behind after helping a friend move. Last Friday around 6:15 PM we were at a rental cabin near the Kenai River, and I must have misplaced it while unloading. I think it ended up in the Soldotna Public Library lobby, or perhaps in the cafe area as we left. It is a standard stainless microwave with a small dent on the door and a frayed power cord. This thing is my daily helper for quick meals and warm coffee, and I am hopeful someone found it and kept it safe.

Lost: Holiday decorations from my Soldotna home.

I last checked the fireplace mantle at 9:30 p.m. Friday, at my home on Binkley Lane in Soldotna, on the Kenai Peninsula. The decorations are a mix of red-and-green garland with pinecones, a wreath, two glittering snowflakes, and a string of warm white lights. I had them set up for a small Christmas gathering and they instantly sparkled when the lights turned on. Since then I’ve retraced steps from the living room to the garage and even checked the nearby Soldotna Rotary Park parking lot, but they’re gone. These decorations carry memories from last year, and I’m hoping to have them back before our family brings out the stockings for Christmas Eve.

Dark blue passport in leather sleeve with Alaska sticker

I lost my dark blue U.S. passport yesterday around 3pm near the Safeway on the Sterling Highway in Soldotna, Kenai Peninsula. It's in a black leather sleeve, and the inner cover has a small blue Alaska moose sticker I stuck there for luck. The back cover has a coffee ring from my mug and the corner is a bit creased from travel. This passport is crucial for my upcoming trip, and it holds a lot of sentimental value since it was my first big move to Alaska. If someone found it, I’d be so grateful to get it back.
