Lost photographs from a personal collection in Gulfport

I was sorting through a stack of old photographs on Friday at 8:15 p.m., sitting near the Gulfport Harbor at Beach Blvd and 28th Ave. I stepped away to grab a jacket, and when I came back the wind had rattled the folder off the bench. The pictures span generations: my grandmother's wedding portrait from the 1950s, a family trip to the Biloxi Lighthouse, a birthday snapshot of my dad in a striped shirt. They’re irreplaceable, and I’m gutted at the thought someone else might have them. If they’re found, that would mean the world to me; they tell our family story in color.

Student ID lost near Biloxi Lighthouse

Hi, I’m Grace Williams. I lost my student ID around 8:45 a.m. today near the Biloxi Lighthouse along Beach Boulevard. It’s a slim blue card in a worn navy badge sleeve, with my name and photo on the front. I rely on that ID for campus entry and the library, so I’m anxious about it being out there somewhere. I was heading toward the marina when I realized it was missing. If you found it, please drop a note through the site so I can arrange to pick it up in Biloxi. Thanks for helping a fellow student.

Lost: Organizers in Gulfport/Biloxi, MS

This morning around 9:45 a.m. I realized I’d misplaced two clear plastic organizers while setting up for a community fundraiser along Beach Boulevard, near the Biloxi Lighthouse. They’re stackable, with a yellow label on the lid, and they hold a lot of planning sheets and notes for an event I’m coordinating along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I’m hoping someone nearby picked them up by mistake and will return them through this site. They’re essential to keeping the event organized on busy coastal days.

Found: Toasters in Gulfport

I was walking along Beach Boulevard this morning around 9:30 AM when I found two toasters sitting on the curb in front of the Gulfport Library. They are a little dusty and have a few faint scratches, but otherwise in decent shape. I picked them up and brought them to a nearby bench, hoping their owner might see this post. I can imagine someone is missing them after a quick morning errand, and I hope they are reunited soon.

Found sports equipment near Jones Park, Gulfport

I was walking near Jones Park in Gulfport / Biloxi, Mississippi, United States around 6:45 PM on Tuesday when I spotted a dusty duffel behind a bench along Beach Boulevard. I opened it and found equipment for various sports: a basketball, two tennis rackets, a few cones, and a faded team hoodie peeking out. It looked like someone had dashed off after practice. I felt for the owner, imagining the scramble to find gear before next game. I’ve kept it all together and hope this helps the rightful owner get it back. I’m posting from Gulfport / Biloxi, Mississippi, United States.

Gold Yamaha alto sax with dent and engraving

I lost my gold Yamaha alto sax yesterday around 3pm near the Biloxi Lighthouse on Beach Boulevard. The horn is gold lacquer with a small dent in the bell and an engraving inside the bell that reads 'J.M. Collins'. The case is black with a red velvet lining, and there's a blue sticker on the zipper that says 'Band Room 3'. It meant a lot to me—it's a gift from my late father and holds sentimental value. If anyone found it, please get in touch; I really need it back and can offer a reward.

Gold-tone bracelet with heart charm, lost near Beau Rivage

I lost my gold-tone bracelet with a tiny heart charm yesterday around 3pm near the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino on Beach Boulevard in Biloxi. It's a slim 6.5-inch bangle by the brand Aurelia, a little worn at the edges with a few micro-scratches, and it features a small heart charm that catches the light. There’s a tiny engraving on the back—an 'A'—which is a handy identifying feature. It was a gift from my sister and feels incredibly sentimental; I really miss it and would be beyond grateful to have it back.

Ray-Ban tortoiseshell glasses with gold hinges

I lost my Ray-Ban round tortoiseshell glasses with gold hinges yesterday around 3pm. I had them on when I stopped for a quick coffee near the Biloxi Lighthouse, then I stepped out to check a map at Beach Blvd and US-90. They’re about 5 inches wide, with a tiny scratch on the left temple and a faint smudge on the right lens from a light rain; the case is black with a red lining and a small dent from a drop. I think I left everything on a bench outside the Waffle House along Beach Boulevard. They were a gift from my sister, so they mean a lot to me and I’d really appreciate getting them back.

Found vintage brass compass with leather case

Found a vintage brass compass with a dark brown leather case this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Biloxi Lighthouse on Beach Blvd. The compass is about 2 inches in diameter, with a glass face and a worn brass finish that has a little patina. There's a small engraving on the back that looks like 'J.S. 1923' and a frayed tassel on the leather strap. It clearly seems like part of a collector's item, maybe from a maritime enthusiast. If you're the owner, drop me a line at [email protected] and tell me what you remember about it, and we can arrange a meetup in Gulfport or Biloxi to return it.

Silver emerald ring, found near Biloxi Lighthouse

Found a silver ring yesterday around 4pm near the Biloxi Lighthouse on Beach Blvd. It's a slim silver band, probably US size 6-7, with a small oval emerald set in a bezel. The inside of the band has a tiny initials engraving 'A.J.' and there’s a faint heart engraving near the bezel; the ring shows minor wear but the stone is clean and sparkly. I’m posting this here because I know how heartbreaking it would be to lose a ring with sentimental value, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner if you recognize the details.

The zipper pull has a small yellow seashell enamel pin, and there’s a tiny scuff near the right cuff that gives it a well-loved look. I know someone is probably missing it and it might mean a lot to them, so I’d love to get it back to its owner.

Blue king-size quilted comforter found near Biloxi Lighthouse

I found a blue king-size quilted comforter this morning around 9am near the Biloxi Lighthouse on Beach Blvd. It's a cotton-poly blend, in good condition with a few signs of use—a small coffee ring on the bottom-right corner and a tiny fray along the top edge. There's white piping along the sides and an embroidered initial 'LB' in the lower left corner. The pattern is simple geometric squares with a soft navy and sky-blue mix that catches the light. If anyone recognizes it, please reach out—happy to reunite it with its owner.

Calico hamster with blue collar found near Edgewater Mall

I found a small calico hamster wandering in the parking lot behind Edgewater Mall on Beach Blvd in Biloxi yesterday around 3:15pm. It has fluffy fur in patches of orange, white, and black, about the size of a golf ball, and wears a tiny blue collar with a silver bell that tinkles when it moves. It seems well cared for—bright eyes, clean fur, and no obvious injuries, though it looked stressed and a bit scared darting between cars. It clearly belongs to someone, since it’s obviously accustomed to being handled. If this little guy is yours, send me a message and we can arrange a safe meet-up to reunite you.
