Today, around 3:47 PM, I LOST my Avians from the cage I carry for daily walks, somewhere near Gulfport's Jones Park by the Marina. I retraced the boardwalks beside the Biloxi Bay and checked the Gulfport Harbor entrance, calling their names, but I found nothing. They are two small parrots—one green with a bright red beak, the other blue-grey with a tiny crest. I’m anxious and hopeful to bring them back; they’re my only solace after long shifts and their absence makes the harbor feel unusually quiet.
