I found these travel bags on a bench outside the V&A Dundee along the Riverside Walk at about 8:15 this morning. There’s a black duffel and a blue roller bag, both a bit scuffed from rough travel but intact. I gave them a quick check for a tag or wallet, but nothing turned up, so I left them where they were and posted here in case the owner is looking. If you recognize them or know who they belong to, please get in touch through the site so they can be reunited with their owner.

I was hurrying to catch the bus at the Nethergate stop in Dundee this afternoon, around 3:10 PM, when I kicked off my old black leather shoes to re-tie them and must have sent one rolling away. It disappeared into the gravel by the bus shelter near Albert Square, just outside the McManus Galleries. They’re simple black leather trainers with white soles and a small scuff on the left toe. I’ve worn them for years and they’ve seen me through a lot, and I’m anxious about not having them for the next shift.
On Tuesday, around 4:15 p.m., I was walking along Riverside Walk by the V&A Dundee when I spotted a big, weather-stained bag stuffed with assorted sports gear: a football, two tennis rackets, a water bottle, and a dusty gym bag. I checked for a name tag, but nothing obvious. It looked like someone had left it behind after a weekend game by the river. I carried it to the City Council’s lost-and-found desk and explained what I found, hoping its owner would recover it soon. It felt like the right thing to do, and I didn’t want those items to go wandering again.

I was strolling along the Dundee Waterfront after a chilly evening stroll, and around 6:15 pm yesterday I realized my brooches had vanished from my coat pocket. I must have brushed past a railing near the V&A Dundee during a quick photo stop of the river. They’re a small pair: one silver with a blue stone, the other brass with a tiny fleur-de-lis. Losing them hit me hard—the memories they carry from my gran’s jewelry box suddenly felt far away in the salty Dundee air. If someone picked them up, I’d be grateful to have them back where they belong.
