Lost Xylophones near Ames Public Library
Last Sunday around 7:45 PM, I was packing up after rehearsal at the Ames High School auditorium and realized my xylophones were missing somewhere along Douglas Avenue near the Ames Public Library's east entrance. I retraced my steps along the sidewalk by the library, but they were nowhere to be found. It’s a small student set, bright red mallets attached with a yellow cord, and it means a lot to me to have them back for practice. If you see them, please know they’re important and I’d be grateful to get them back.
LOST: Flutes near ISU Campanile, Ames
I realized my flute was missing around 4:30 p.m. today after a quick rehearsal on the Iowa State University campus in Ames. I must have set it down on a bench near the Campanile while I ducked into a bookstore, and by the time I returned, it was gone. The flute is a student model with a bright silver finish and a dent in the lip plate; it's central to my recital next week. If you found it, I’d be deeply grateful to have it returned through this site.

I found sheet music near the ISU Campanile in Ames around 6:45 p.m. yesterday. I was walking back toward Campustown when I spotted a small bundle of pages on a bench outside Parks Library. It looks like someone was practicing a piano piece and the wind kept flipping the pages. I kept it dry and intact, hoping it can find its owner; please contact through the site if this sounds like yours.
Lost violin in green soft case with scratches, possibly dropped near Ames Music Store and nearby park.
I lost my violin while walking home from the Ames music store. It's in a green soft case and has a few small scratches on the back. I believe it might've fallen out of my bag when I stopped at the park nearby to grab some water. It’s a family heirloom, so it holds a lot of sentimental value to me.
