I was at the Campanile area on the Iowa State University campus around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 when I realized my shopping bags were missing after I stopped for a quick bite by the Food Court. The bags are two: a teal tote with a white floral pattern, and a plain black tote with a small white logo. They held groceries, a notebook, and a sketchbook I’ve carried with me all semester. I retraced the walk from the Campanile toward the library, hoping someone picked them up, but there’s been no sign. If you’ve seen them, know they matter to me and I’m hopeful they’ll surface nearby.
Lost travel visas in Ames
On Tuesday at 4:15 pm, I was walking across the Iowa State University campus near the Memorial Union when I realized my travel visas weren’t in my folder. Lost Xylophones near Ames Public Library
Last Sunday around 7:45 PM, I was packing up after rehearsal at the Ames High School auditorium and realized my xylophones were missing somewhere along Douglas Avenue near the Ames Public Library's east entrance. I retraced my steps along the sidewalk by the library, but they were nowhere to be found. It’s a small student set, bright red mallets attached with a yellow cord, and it means a lot to me to have them back for practice. They slipped out the door while I was bringing in groceries and haven't come back. The tabby has a white chest patch, and the calico is mostly orange and white; both are friendly but skittish. Maple, a brown Labrador with a white chest, and Pip, a small fluffy corgi, slipped their leash and darted toward Campustown.
