Found: Holiday Decorations in Ames.
I found these Holiday Decorations this morning around 11:30 a.m. near Main Street and Grand Avenue in Ames, Iowa. A tote with string lights and several ornaments had been left on the curb by the sidewalk while I was walking to the library. I picked them up and brought them here, hoping the owner checks this listing and can reclaim their festive items. It reminded me how special decorating can be, even in the middle of a grey January day.

I lost my black leather passport wallet yesterday around 3pm near the Memorial Union on the ISU campus in Ames. It’s a slim wallet with a red satin interior and an eagle-shaped zipper pull that still catches the light. Inside are my passport, a couple of cards, and a small photo of my family—sentimental stuff I really don’t want to lose. The wallet has a tiny scuff on the outer corner from a backpack strap, and the interior lining is a bit wrinkled from daily use. If anyone happened to find it, I’d be forever grateful to get it back.

I lost my beige behind-the-ear hearing aid last night around 3:15 PM. It was tucked in a small navy zip pouch inside my coat pocket, and I think I had it near the Memorial Union on the Iowa State University campus in Ames. The device is a beige BTE model with a tiny dent along the top edge and a green silicone dome on the right ear tip. If you look closely there’s a bright red wax guard visible at the speaker. I rely on this daily and it’s expensive to replace, so I’d be really grateful to get it back.
