Hi, I’m Sam Parker. I found a stack of CDs on the sidewalk outside Yakima Riverfront Park, near the Locust Street Bridge, around 2:45 p.m. today. They’re a mix of rock and indie titles, all in a dented black case with a note tucked inside. I kept them safe on a bench while I looked around the area to see if anyone was missing something obvious. If you’re the owner, describe a few titles or distinctive stickers and I’ll figure out how to get them back to you.
Blue paperback poetry collection with yellowed edges
I’m missing a blue paperback poetry collection, pocket-sized, about 5 by 8 inches, with a blue cover and a yellowed spine—Penguin Classics edition. It has a tiny coffee stain on the back, and a red ribbon bookmark peeking out from page 92; the pages are dog-eared from lots of reading. I last had it yesterday around 3pm near the Yakima Public Library on 3rd Street by the bus stop outside the coffee shop. It was a gift from my grandmother and feels really sentimental; I’d be grateful to get it back—reach me at [email protected].

I lost my favorite recipe book near the Yakima Farmers Market last Saturday. It has a green cover with personal notes and many family recipes inside. I was distracted while shopping and think I may have left it on a vendor's table. I'm really hoping to find it, as it holds a lot of sentimental value.
