Lost brooches in downtown Yakima.
I realized I lost my two heirloom brooches somewhere along Yakima Avenue after leaving the Yakima Riverwalk around 6:50 pm. They’re silver with turquoise stones and mean a lot to me; I wore them at my sister's wedding last spring. I’m hopeful someone picked them up and kept them safe, because these pieces carry family memories. Thank you to anyone who might have seen them near downtown Yakima.
Found CDs by Yakima Riverfront Park, near Locust Street.
Hi, I’m Sam Parker. I found a stack of CDs on the sidewalk outside Yakima Riverfront Park, near the Locust Street Bridge, around 2:45 p.m. today. They’re a mix of rock and indie titles, all in a dented black case with a note tucked inside. I kept them safe on a bench while I looked around the area to see if anyone was missing something obvious. If you’re the owner, describe a few titles or distinctive stickers and I’ll figure out how to get them back to you.
Lost: Student ID in Yakima
Hi, I’m Liam Bennett. I think I dropped my student ID somewhere around the Yakima Transit Center on West Yakima Avenue after my Yakima Valley College class around 6:45 p.m. I had stopped for a quick coffee on 2nd Street and must have set it down on a chair or counter. The ID is on a red lanyard and has my name on it from YVC. It’s a headache to replace, so I’m trying to find it before finals week. If you found it, please check around the Transit Center and Riverfront Park.
Lost: Holiday Decorations near Howard Amon Park
Last Friday night, around 7:45 p.m., I realized our Holiday Decorations were missing from the living room of my apartment on West 7th Avenue, Yakima. The box included garlands, a string of lights, and several heirloom ornaments passed down from my grandmother. They mean a lot to my family, and we always bring them out for the holidays. If found, I’d be grateful to have them back so we can decorate this year.
Found: Sheet Music near Capitol Theatre, Yakima
I found this sheet music on a bench outside the Capitol Theatre in Yakima around 9:15 PM last Friday. The pages are worn, with pencil marks and a coffee ring that shows how much it’s been used. It clearly belongs to someone who loves their music, and I’d hate for it to be forgotten. If you recognize it, please use the site to help reunite it with the owner.
Cream Syrian hamster with gray patch
I lost my cream-colored Syrian hamster yesterday around 3pm near the Safeway on West Yakima Ave. He's about 4 inches long, with fluffy cream fur, a white belly, and a tiny gray patch on his left hip. He also has a small scar on his right hind paw and a blue dot on the inside of his left ear that you can see when you pick him up. This little guy was a gift from my daughter and means a lot to me—I'm really worried. If you found him, please message me here and I’ll swing by to pick him up.
Gold-tone bracelet with heart charm—lost near Capitol Theatre
I lost my gold-tone bracelet yesterday around 3pm outside the Capitol Theatre on E Yakima Ave. It's a slim, 7-inch bracelet with a tiny heart charm and a small enamel star. The inside is engraved with the initials 'J.R.' and there's a faint scratch along the back. I bought it last year; it felt like a little piece of sunshine and it has sentimental value—my sister gave it to me before she moved away. If anyone found it, please drop it by the Capitol Theatre box office or message me; I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
White PS5 with DualSense controller, last seen yesterday.
I lost my white PlayStation 5 Standard Edition with the DualSense controller yesterday around 3pm. The console has a small blue cat sticker on the top edge and a tiny scratch near the disc drive. It was in a grey Sony-branded tote bag, and the controller is white with the usual black accents and a slightly worn right stick. I think I might have left it outside the Starbucks on West Yakima Avenue near the Valley Mall, or possibly dropped it near the Yakima Convention Center. This PS5 means a lot to me—it was a gift from my sister and I really need it back.
Blue Nike swim shorts, size M
I found a pair of blue Nike swim shorts this afternoon around 3:15pm near the fountain behind the Riverfront Park skate area in Yakima. They're size M, royal blue with a white Nike swoosh on the left leg and a lime-green pocket zipper pull. The fabric looks lightly used but clean, with a tiny chlorine stain on the inner liner. There's a small white tag that says 'M' and a tiny embroidered star near the belt loop—definitely something someone would remember. I know someone out there is missing these and would be relieved to get them back. If you think these are yours, tell me where you last had them or describe the distinctive lime-green zipper pull and the left-leg swoosh.
Yamaha trumpet with dent and initials A.J.
I lost my Yamaha trumpet yesterday around 3pm after a student recital at Riverside Park near Yakima Ave and 6th Street. It's a gold lacquer trumpet with a couple of small dents on the bell and a scratch near the mouthpiece; the case is a bit worn but still functional. The mouthpiece sleeve is engraved with 'A.J.' and there's a red cleaning cloth tucked in the case pocket—easy to spot if you know what to look for. It was a gift from my aunt and means a lot to me emotionally, so I’m really hoping to get it back for band practice and upcoming auditions. If anyone found it, please drop it at the downtown Yakima City Lost and Found or message me directly—really appreciate any help.
Blue Nike football cleats with neon laces
I found a pair of blue Nike football cleats, size 9, this morning around 7:15am behind the Walmart on West Nob Hill Boulevard in Yakima. They're in decent condition with a light scuff on the left toe and neon orange laces that really pop. On the tongue there's a faded Nike tag and a small red sticker with the initials 'K.T.' stuck inside the shoe. I’m hoping to reunite them with their owner and would be glad to meet at the Walmart front desk to verify details.
Black RFID passport holder with red zipper pull
I found a black RFID-blocking passport holder this afternoon around 2:15pm near the Yakima Transit Center on West Yakima Ave. It’s slim, about the size of a passport, with subtle red stitching along the edge and a bright red zipper pull on the coin pocket. Inside there are slots for two cards and a boarding-pass sleeve, plus a small embossed airplane logo that reads Aero. There’s a faint coffee stain on the back and a worn Seattle sticker on the strap from a past trip. If this is yours, message me and we can arrange a pickup—happy to get it back to its owner.
JBL Clip 4 speaker with red carabiner
I lost my black JBL Clip 4 Bluetooth speaker yesterday around 3pm near the Capitol Theatre on S 3rd Ave in Yakima. It's about the size of a soda can, with a red carabiner clipped to the loop and a small dent on the bottom from a camping trip last weekend. There's a blue sticker with a mountain logo on the back, and it's filed under the Miscellaneous Electronics category. It has sentimental value because I rely on it daily for podcasts and workouts, and I really need it back. If you found it, please drop it off at the Yakima Police Department desk or contact me here—I would be so grateful to get it back.
Limited edition Star Wars action figure set
I lost my limited edition Star Wars action figure set from 1983, Kenner, still in its original blister packaging. The set includes Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and R2-D2, each about 3.75 inches tall, with a blue and white box showing a bit of wear. I was at the Capitol Theatre plaza on Yakima Avenue yesterday around 6pm, and I think I set it down near the blue recycling bin by the entrance. The box has a small dent on the top-right corner and a slight crease along the back; the blister is intact and the figures look untouched. It has sentimental value; this was my first big collectible, and I'd really love to have it back for my display. If you found it, please reach out.
Red North Face puffer jacket with fur hood
I found a red The North Face puffer jacket this morning around 9:15 am in the parking lot behind the Yakima Public Library on West 2nd Street. It's a men's medium in bright red, with a detachable gray faux-fur hood and a few light scuffs on the cuffs. There's a small mountain patch embroidered on the left sleeve, and the inside pocket has a neon orange lining with a tiny TNF tag on the zipper. Overall it's in good condition, seems like it's been worn a bit but cared for. If this is your jacket, message me and we can meet up near the library steps or at the Yakima Riverfront Park entrance to verify details and get it back to you.
