I lost my full-size sunburst violin yesterday around 3pm near the Wichita Public Library on 2nd Street. It's a spruce-top, maple-back instrument in a black hard-shell case with a red velvet lining, and the bow has a few scuffs. The case has a small purple heart sticker on the outside, and there's a dent on the lower bout with a chipped chin rest. This violin was a gift from my grandfather and means a lot to me; I'm really hoping it turns up.
I lost my black Canon EOS Rebel SL3 DSLR yesterday around 3pm near the Keeper of the Plains statue along the Arkansas River trail in Wichita. It’s a compact black body with a dragon sticker on the battery grip and a bright red silicone wrist strap that’s worn from travel. The 18-55mm kit lens has a small scratch on the front element, and the camera bag has a faded blue patch with my initials "AR". This camera means a lot to me—it was a gift from my sister and holds irreplaceable family photos from last year. If someone spotted it, I’d really appreciate getting it back; I’m hoping the person who finds it will understand how much it means.
I lost my gold-tone bracelet with a tiny heart charm yesterday around 3pm near the Keeper of the Plains overlook in Riverside Park, Wichita. It's a slim, 6-inch bracelet with an engraved initial 'M' on the heart and a small scratch near the clasp. It was a gift from my grandmother and has huge sentimental value; I wore it almost every day. If anyone found it, please email me at [email protected]—I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
I lost my black Fossil leather wallet yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Douglas Ave in Old Town Wichita. It's a slim bifold, about the size of a standard credit card holder, with pebbled leather and a tiny scratch along the bottom edge. Inside you’ll find my driver's license, two credit cards, a few loyalty cards, and about $25 cash. The wallet has a couple identifying marks: a faded coffee stain on the back corner and an embossed 'S.T.' on the inner card slot. This wallet was a graduation gift from my dad, and it means a lot to me; I’d be really grateful to get it back if someone found it.
I was out for a run yesterday around 6pm and somehow I can't find my gray Nike running shoes, size 9. They're the Pegasus model, gray with bright neon lime-green laces and a faint scuff on the left heel. I last saw them near the Keeper of the Plains statue at 13th Street by the Arkansas River trail after cooling down. They’ve got sentimental value—it was a gift from my sister last year—and I really need them back. If anyone picked them up, I’d be grateful to get them back.
I found a tan leather handbag with gold hardware this afternoon along the Riverwalk by the Douglas Ave bridge in Wichita's Old Town. It's a medium-sized tote, pebble-grain leather, with a small silver hummingbird charm on the zipper and a blue Kate Spade tag inside. Inside there is a lipstick stain on the lining and a red striped scarf tucked in the outer pocket - easy to spot if you know it. I would love to help get it back to its owner; if this is yours, let me know and we will sort out how to reunite you.
I found a violin this afternoon around 1:30pm in the parking lot behind the Wichita Public Library on S Main St. It's a full-size student violin with a sunburst finish, a few light scratches along the back, and a black chin rest that's seen better days. There's a small green sticker with a treble clef under the tailpiece, and the hard case has a couple of scuffs and a bright yellow interior that’s easy to spot. It feels like a school instrument and I’d be glad to see it back with its owner—DM me here to arrange a meetup near the library so we can verify it's yours.
I found a set of keys while walking my dog around Riverside Park in Wichita. The keys are on a silver keyring and have a couple of house keys along with a small blue keychain shaped like a dolphin. I must have walked by them several times and just noticed them yesterday. If you're missing a set of keys that sounds like this, please reach out!
I found a brown leather wallet yesterday afternoon while walking along the Wichita River Walk. It was just laying on a bench near the playground area. The wallet is fairly worn but still in good condition and has some identification and cards inside. If anyone can describe its contents, I'd be happy to return it to its owner.
I found a black leather briefcase in the parking lot of the WaterWalk in downtown Wichita yesterday evening. It's full of business documents and a laptop, so I'm sure it belongs to someone who really needs it back. There was no name or contact info inside, but the briefcase has a distinctive brand logo. I'm hoping to return it to its rightful owner.
