While wandering through Old Town toward the Keeper of the Plains statue on Saturday around 11:05 a.m., I spotted two toasters sitting on a curb outside a thrift shop. They’re slightly dinged, one with a chipped lever, both dusty with flour and crumbs from a street-side breakfast. They looked like someone moved fast and forgot their small kitchen gear.
