That Tuesday around 6:15 p.m., I left behind a black duffel bag filled with equipment for various sports by College Square in downtown Waterloo. Inside are a tennis racket, a basketball, a couple of volleyball knee pads, and a yoga mat—gear I rely on for weekend leagues. I walked the square, checked the nearby coffee shop, and asked at the bus stop, but the bag was gone. I’m anxious about missing practices but hopeful someone honest picked it up and turned it in. Saturday around 9:15 a.m., I set a box of action figures on a shelf in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area near College Square and turned to grab a quick coffee. I came back and the box was gone, along with eight figures—mostly classic heroes and a rare convention chase figure in mint condition. They’re not just toys; they’re memories from my youth and from family and friends who shared that collection with me. I’m hopeful they’ll be found, because losing them feels like losing a part of my story.

I found a mint-condition Star Wars action figure this afternoon around 3:30 pm behind the Cedar Falls Public Library on Main Street. It's about 6 inches tall and still sealed in its original blister pack; the card back has a little corner wear and a faint crease along the top edge. The packaging is mostly black and red with the Hasbro logo visible, and the figure inside wears a dark jumpsuit with a blue cape—I can't tell the exact character without opening it. There's a small pencil initials CF sticker on the back of the card, which could help identify the owner, and I'd love to reunite it with them.

I lost my framed 11x14 abstract painting yesterday around 3pm near the Waterloo Center for the Arts on 5th Street. It’s in a white wooden frame with a tiny dent on the bottom left corner and features blue-and-gold swirls on a gray background. The back is signed "M. Kapoor" and there’s a small sticker that reads "River Pulse – Limited Run #12." It was a gift from my grandmother, so it’s very sentimental to me, and I’d be grateful to have it back.
