LOST sports gear in Victoria
Last Friday at about 7:15 p.m., I lost my equipment for various sports from a bench near DeLeon Plaza in downtown Victoria. The gym bag held a basketball, a soccer ball, a pair of cleats, and a tennis racket with a frayed grip. I retraced my steps around the plaza and along the river, hoping to spot the bag’s familiar markings, but I came up empty. This stuff means a lot to me as I gear up for weekend practice, and I’m hoping the right passerby might see this and help bring it home.

Hi, I’m Emily Carter. I lost a small packet of vintage stamps from my grandfather’s collection—the red envelope is frayed and a few corners are worn. I realized they were missing yesterday around 3:15 PM, somewhere along Main Street in downtown Victoria near the courthouse square. I retraced my steps through shops and the plaza, but they didn’t turn up. Those stamps are a piece of my family’s history, and I’m really hoping they’ll be found.
Hand-painted ceramic vase with teal motif
I found this hand-painted ceramic vase this afternoon around 3:20pm on Government Street, right outside the Royal BC Museum near the Inner Harbour in Victoria. It's about 10 inches tall with a slender, slightly flared neck, teal glaze speckled with gold and a subtle crackle pattern in the glaze. The surface has a small patchy glaze irregularity that gives it character, and there's a signature that looks like 'Lina K.' on the bottom along with a tiny white enamel star sticker beside it. The vase appears to be in good condition overall. I know it's probably important to someone, and I’d be happy to see it safely returned to its owner.

I lost my child's favorite blue stuffed dinosaur while we were playing at the park near the waterfront in Victoria. It has a few little scuff marks but is otherwise in good condition. Our son is really upset about it, and we would appreciate any help in locating it.
