LOST satchels near Victoria Historic Square
I was strolling along the Victoria Riverwalk by the Historic Square around 4:15 p.m. last Friday when I set my satchels down on a bench near the city library to grab a quick bite from a food truck. A few minutes later I looked up and they were gone—the crowds and bright Texas sun did not help. Those satchels held my travel documents and a few journals, and I’m uneasy without them on this trip. If you found them anywhere around the Victoria Riverwalk or by the Historic Square, please drop them at the site so I can collect them.

I lost my brown leather briefcase yesterday around 3pm near the Empress Hotel on Government Street, by the Inner Harbour. It's a dark brown leather briefcase, about the size of a small laptop case, with brass hardware and a slightly frayed shoulder strap. Inside are my work papers, a teal notebook, and a black USB drive; there's a red silk scarf tied around the handle and a small leather tag engraved with my initials 'P.K.' The case has sentimental value—it was a gift from my father and it feels like a part of him is in it. I really need it back. Navy North Face backpack found near Inner Harbour
I found a navy blue North Face Borealis backpack this morning around 9:15am. It was sitting on a bench near the Inner Harbour, along Government Street by the Empress Hotel in Victoria. The bag is in good condition with a few scuffs on the bottom. It has a red zipper pull on the main pocket and a lime-green carabiner clipped to the side pocket, plus a small mountain-logo pin on the front. Inside I found a water bottle sleeve and a notebook with a doodle of a penguin. It feels like someone uses this as a daily commuter bag and I’d love to reunite it with its owner.
