Lost Canines in Vermont near Burlington
I was walking my Canines on the Burlington Bike Path near Waterfront Park last Friday at 7:15 p.m. when a gust pulled their leashes and they bolted toward the marina. The pink evening light made it hard to spot them among the crowd, and I rushed after them past the Church Street Marketplace and toward the shoreline. I am scared they will wander into traffic or into the woods behind the lake, and I just want them home where they belong.
Lost felines near Burlington, Vermont
Last night around 9:15 PM I realized my two felines had slipped out the back door of our apartment near the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington. I’ve spent hours walking the block from Pearl Street to Waterfront Park, calling their names and rattling a can of treats, but the alleys and piles of snow hid them from view. They’re indoor-outdoor rescues who light up my days, and I worry about the cold and the traffic. My heart aches with every passing car. If you’ve seen them, I’m holding onto hope.
Gray dwarf rabbit missing near Church Street Marketplace
I lost my gray dwarf rabbit yesterday around 3pm near the Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, Vermont. He's tiny, about the size of a large hamster, with soft light-gray fur and a small white patch on his chest. He sometimes wears a pale pink harness with a tiny bell, but I’m not sure if it’s still on him. He’s a little shy but incredibly friendly once he warms up, and this little guy means the world to me—he was a gift from my sister and helps me through tough days. If you’ve seen him, please email me at [email protected] and we can meet near City Hall Park to bring him home.
Green cockatiel with orange cheeks and blue leg band
I lost my green cockatiel yesterday around 3pm after I stepped outside onto our apartment balcony in Burlington, Vermont. He’s the size of a palm, all green with bright orange cheek patches, a pale yellow crest, and a small blue leg band labeled 'B7' on his left leg. He responds to the name 'Zippy' and loves to chirp at familiar voices. Last I saw him, he was fluttering toward the Church Street Marketplace area, near the waterfront by the ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain. This little guy has sentimental value to me and my family, and I’d be eternally grateful to get him back if anyone spots him.
Lost black pet collar with small silver bell near Lake Champlain Park in Vermont.
I lost my pet's favorite black collar, which has a small silver bell attached to it. I believe I dropped it while walking around the park near Lake Champlain in Vermont. It has my phone number on a tag, so I would appreciate it if anyone could return it to me.
Found a small brown bunny in a backyard in Vermont, appearing healthy and friendly.
I found a small brown bunny hopping around in my backyard in Vermont this morning. It looks well taken care of and seems friendly. I’ve put out some food and water for it, but I’m hoping to find its owner as soon as possible. If anyone recognizes this little one, please reach out!
