Lost paintings near ISU campus, Terre Haute
On Saturday around 11:15 a.m., I lost my two landscape paintings from the studio behind the old storefront on 7th Street, Terre Haute. They’re each framed in black and mounted on a simple easel, one with a river scene and the other a sunset over the Wabash. I’d stepped out for a moment to grab a coffee on Davis Street, and when I returned the door was ajar and the window shade fluttering in the breeze. The paintings carry months of sketches and a plan for a campus show, so they matter a lot to me. If someone spotted them around the ISU campus or Wabash Ave, please let me know through the site.
Plush dinosaur toy with blue scarf
I found a small plush dinosaur near the Terre Haute Children's Museum on 7th Street yesterday around 3:20pm. It's about 8 inches tall, bright lime green with a blue knitted scarf and an orange stitched smile. There’s a tiny tear on the left leg and a little yellow star patch on its belly—easy to spot as a unique detail. It looks well-loved but clean, clearly a favorite toy. If this belongs to a kid in Terre Haute, I’d love to reunite it with its owner; drop a message here and we can arrange a quick pickup nearby.

I lost my blue Ty Beanie Buddies dragon, about 12 inches tall, a well-loved kids’ plush with a bright yellow scarf. I misplaced it yesterday around 3pm near the CVS on Wabash Ave and 3rd Street in Terre Haute. It has a tiny star patch on its tummy and a stitched repair on the left ear; fur is a bit matted from all the cuddling, and one eye is a little wonky. This dragon has sentimental value—it’s been my daughter's bedtime buddy since she was little, and I really need to get it back. If someone found it, a note here would be amazing, and I’ll come pick it up as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hey there, I lost my Nike Pegasus running shoes yesterday around 3pm near the ISU Rec Center and Hulman Center on 7th Street in Terre Haute. They’re black with a neon lime swoosh, size 9, and lightly worn. There's a small coffee stain on the tongue of the left shoe. I was mid-run when I paused by the campus bike racks and must have left them there. These are my go-to training shoes and I’d be grateful to get them back.

I recently lost a set of rare 1990s action figures while attending a flea market in Terre Haute. The set includes figures from a popular sci-fi series and is in its original box, which has a bit of wear but is still intact. I last remember having it when I was browsing the vintage toys section. If anyone finds it, I’d really appreciate it back as it holds sentimental value to me.
