On Saturday around 11:15 a.m., I lost my two landscape paintings from the studio behind the old storefront on 7th Street, Terre Haute. They’re each framed in black and mounted on a simple easel, one with a river scene and the other a sunset over the Wabash. I’d stepped out for a moment to grab a coffee on Davis Street, and when I returned the door was ajar and the window shade fluttering in the breeze. The paintings carry months of sketches and a plan for a campus show, so they matter a lot to me. If someone spotted them around the ISU campus or Wabash Ave, please let me know through the site.
