Found CDs on Natchez riverfront boardwalk
Hi, I’m Scarlett Martin. I found a stack of CDs on the Natchez riverfront boardwalk around 3:15 PM today, tucked behind a bench by the Canal Street overlook. They’re in a weather-worn black tote, scratched sleeves, with a mix of indie rock, classic soundtracks, and a few jazz records peeking out. I’m posting here in case the owner recognizes the cover art or the way the case smells like rain and old paper.
Lost postcards from Natchez town square
I was in Natchez, Southwest Mississippi, around 3:15 PM on Saturday, jotting notes to send to my grandmother and waiting near the Natchez Town Square. I set a small stack of vintage postcards on a bench by the Natchez Visitor Center and forgot to pick them up before we walked away. The cards date from the 1950s to 1960s, with handwritten messages on the backs and scenes of the riverfront and Canal Street. It feels like a piece of my family's history slipped away, and I hope someone found them and kept them safe.
