I was in Natchez, Southwest Mississippi, around 3:15 PM on Saturday, jotting notes to send to my grandmother and waiting near the Natchez Town Square. I set a small stack of vintage postcards on a bench by the Natchez Visitor Center and forgot to pick them up before we walked away. The cards date from the 1950s to 1960s, with handwritten messages on the backs and scenes of the riverfront and Canal Street.
