Lost holiday decorations near Falls Park, Sioux Falls
At 8:30 pm last Sunday, I was stringing holiday decorations on the porch of my house on 9th Street in Sioux Falls when a gust knocked them loose and I can't locate them. The 'holiday decorations' include a handmade star, silver garland, and a few heirloom ornaments that carry memories for our family. I’m devastated because these decorations mark our celebrations every year, and I worry they might be lost for good if someone doesn’t spot them. It’s a blue inhaler with a white mouthpiece and a red cap, and there’s a small round sticker on the side with the code ‘J-71’ plus a tiny dent near the base. I rely on it daily for my asthma, and with pollen season and gym classes starting, I’m really worried about not having it. I found a navy blue memory-foam travel neck pillow this morning around 10:15am, sitting on a bench near Falls Park Visitor Center in Sioux Falls, SD. It's a Jetsetter brand, about 11 inches long, with a zipper along the side and a washable cover that's a bit worn at the edges. There's a small coffee stain on the outer fabric and a red luggage tag with initials 'JS' stitched onto the strap.
