Lost equipment for various sports in Sheffield city centre
I lost my equipment for various sports after a jog around Peace Gardens in Sheffield city centre around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The bag had a cricket bat, shin guards, a training cone, and a damp towel—items I use for a midweek club session. I’d stopped to tie my shoelace by the ornate fountain and must have dropped it as I walked toward the tram stop. The gear matters to me because it’s part of a routine I’ve kept up for years with my local team. If someone happened to pick it up, I’d be grateful to have it back and keep training with the team.
Vintage Sheffield enamel pin collection tin
I lost my vintage Sheffield enamel pin collection tin yesterday around 3pm outside Waterstones on The Moor in Sheffield. It's a small black metal tin with a red lid, about the size of a deck of cards, and inside there's a blue velvet insert that holds about a dozen pins showing local landmarks—the City Hall, the Winter Garden, and a tiny steelworks cog. The tin has a dent on the lid and a handwritten label on the bottom that reads 'Property of Amina Rahman' in black marker, plus a faint coffee stain along the edge. These pins were a gift from my dad and mean a lot to me; I’d really love to get them back if anyone found it.
Framed watercolor painting, dusk landscape, 8x10 in
I lost my framed watercolor painting yesterday around 3pm near the Peace Gardens outside the Millennium Gallery on Castlegate in Sheffield. It's a small 8x10 inch piece, blues with gold accents, in a black wooden frame with a tiny chip on the bottom-right corner. On the back there's a purple circular sticker with the artist's initials 'LP' and a faint pencil inscription that reads 'Dusk Meadow'. It was a gift from my late grandmother and really sentimental to me, so I would be heartbroken if it doesn't turn up. If anyone found it, drop me a line and I can share a photo to verify.
Lost hand-painted porcelain vase with intricate floral designs near the entrance by the gift shop at Kelham Island Museum.
I misplaced a stunning hand-painted porcelain vase while visiting the Kelham Island Museum in Sheffield. It has intricate floral designs and I'm heartbroken about losing it. I last saw it near the entrance by the gift shop. If anyone has come across it, please get in touch!
