lost keyboards near Sandusky Main Street, Friday.
Hi, I'm Anna Thompson. I lost two keyboards after a small gig downtown last Friday around 6:15 PM. I had them resting on the back bumper of my van near the Sandusky Municipal Auditorium, at the corner of Main Street and Market Street. When I turned back to grab a cable, they were gone. These instruments are my livelihood and mean a lot to me—rehearsals, gigs, the sound I bring to every show. One has a blue tape on the edge; the other has a tiny dent near the F key. I’ve retraced my steps, asked a few people, and checked the curb, but no sign yet. If you found them, I’d be so grateful to hear they’re safe.
Lost Saxophones near Sandusky Bay Boardwalk
I was loading up after a gig near the Sandusky Bay Boardwalk around 6:15 p.m. on Friday when I realized my saxophones weren't in the case anymore. They’re two horns—an older alto with a chipped lacquer and a tenor with a dent at the bell—and they mean a lot to me, passed down from my grandfather. I felt the cool lake breeze and watched the lights flicker along Water Street as I retraced steps toward the boardwalk. It hurts to think they may be somewhere out there, waiting to be found and brought back home.
Lost sheet music near Jackson Street Pier, Sandusky
Hi, I'm Emily Hart. I lost my sheet music around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday while leaving the Sandusky Maritime Museum area, near the Main Street Pier. A gust off Lake Erie whipped my folder from my hands as I paused to switch pages. The folder is blue, spiral-bound, with the title 'Jazz in C' scrawled on the cover and a coffee stain near the corner. Those pieces were for a community recital this weekend, and they’re important to me because they belonged to my late grandmother. If you’ve seen anything like this, please let me know through the site so we can reunite it.
Red Pearl snare drum with skull sticker
Found a red Pearl snare drum this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the harbor market on Perkins Ave, Sandusky. It's a 14x6.5 inch shell with a bright red lacquer, chrome hardware, and a skull sticker on the shell. There are two maple drumsticks with black grips tucked into the snare basket, and I saw a faint 'A17' etched on the inside rim. It looks gently used but a bit dusty; I can hold onto it until the owner claims it.
Sunburst acoustic guitar with worn strap
I lost my sunburst acoustic guitar yesterday around 3pm near the Cedar Point entrance parking lot on State Route 2 in Sandusky. It's a dreadnought with a sunburst finish, white binding, and a pale spruce top. There's a small dent near the bridge and a frayed brown leather strap, plus a blue sticker with a tiny guitar pick icon on the headstock. Inside the soundhole you can see a faded Cleveland Folk Festival 2019 sticker, which is one of the few things that still stands out when I glance at it. This guitar meant a lot to me—it's a gift from my grandmother, and I’m really hoping someone picked it up for a safe return.
Lost sunburst-finish acoustic guitar with scratches and distinctive stickers near the picnic area in a park in Sandusky.
I seem to have misplaced my trusty old acoustic guitar while visiting a park in Sandusky last weekend. It's a sunburst finish with a few scratches and distinctive stickers on the back. I last remember having it near the picnic area where I was jamming with some friends. It's very dear to me, so I hope someone finds it!
