Found CDs near Riverfront Park gazebo, Salem
I found a stack of CDs near the Riverfront Park gazebo in Salem around 1:15 p.m. today. They were loose in a dusty case with a few scratches and a hand-written label that read 'For a rainy day.' A jogger passed by as I picked them up, and I could tell someone spent hours curating them. They feel like someone’s soundtrack, and it bothers me to think of the owner missing them. I’m keeping them safe here for now in case they turn up on the site.
Lost photographs near Salem Capitol steps
This morning at 9:15 a.m. I was walking toward Riverfront Park in downtown Salem when I felt my tote shift and the photographs spill onto the sidewalk by the Oregon State Capitol. The collection is a mix of black-and-white portraits and sunny family snapshots from a coast trip last summer. A few prints survived a light rain, but several are tucked into a small travel album. If anyone picked up a stack of photos near the Capitol steps, please keep an eye out for them.
