Found keyboards in Chapel Hill, NC
I was walking across Chapel Hill's Franklin Street near the UNC campus around 11:30 a.m. when I spotted two keyboards tucked behind a chair outside the Student Union. One is a black 61-key MIDI controller, the other a full-size keyboard with a few stickers on the case. They looked used but cared for, like someone might be practicing or teaching with them. I’m posting here to help reunite them with their owner through the site.
Lost Saxophones in Raleigh-Durham-CH, NC
On Tuesday at around 8:20 p.m., after a rehearsal at a café near Durham Central Park, I realized I had lost my saxophones resting by a chair outside a shop on Main Street. When I came back, they were gone. There's a distinct alto and tenor pair, both with scratches and a small sticker from a local music shop; one case has a bright red zipper pull that sticks out in the dim streetlight. Losing them feels like my music's heartbeat is missing; I have gigs this week and these instruments are my lifeline.
ProMark 5A drumsticks with blue sticker
I found a pair of ProMark 5A drumsticks this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, near the back entrance on Blackwell Street. They’re natural wood with white tips, a bit scuffed from regular practice, and one stick shows a small dent near the tip. The two sticks were tucked into a small black drawstring bag labeled 'Practice Kit' in faded silver letters. One of them has a bright blue sticker with the initials 'JR' on the grip, which helps identify it.
