Hi, I’m Sam Bennett. I LOST my gym bags in the Parkersburg-Marietta area, last seen around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday by the riverfront promenade near the Parkersburg City Park gazebo. They’re a black duffel with a red stripe and a gray backpack stuffed with my workout clothes and sneakers. I retraced the riverfront path toward downtown, spoke to a couple of vendors, and checked nearby benches, but I didn’t find them. I’m hopeful someone picked them up and kept them safe—if you’ve seen them, please help return them through the site.
