Found a tiny gray dwarf hamster this morning around 9:15am in the parking lot behind the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla, Outer Banks. It's palm-sized with soft fur, gray on top and a white belly, and there’s a crescent-shaped white patch on its left hind leg. It was wearing a light-blue harness-style collar with a tiny bell that jingles when it moves. The little guy seems healthy and curious, a bit shy at first but approachable with a treat. If you recognize him, drop me a note here and I’ll connect you with the finder so he can get back home.
