Inside were travel visas, a boarding-pass stub, and a few stamps—clear signs of someone planning a trip. I could tell it mattered to the traveler, and I didn’t want to leave it out there in case someone returned for it. I picked it up, kept it safe, and brought it here in the hope that the owner will recognize it and reclaim their documents through the site.

Found organizers on Outer Banks boardwalk.

I was strolling the Outer Banks boardwalk by the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse around 6:20 PM last Friday when I spotted a tote left on a bench. It had a stack of organizers for an event—binder dividers, calendars, a few name badges. It did not look mine, so I picked it up and brought it here for safekeeping. The owner will recognize its contents, and I hope they claim it soon. The Outer Banks area is beautiful at dusk, and I am glad to have helped.

I found a navy blue knit beanie this morning around 10:15am behind the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, tucked under a bench near the visitor center parking lot. It's a medium-sized adult beanie, looks like acrylic yarn, and it has a bright orange pom-pom on top with a small snag hole along the edge. Inside there's a tag that reads 'SeaWinds,' which helps with identification even though the fabric is a bit fuzzy from wear. It seems to have been worn on a windy beach walk yesterday, and I know how much a simple hat can mean when you’re out in the OBX chill. Silver bracelet with turquoise bead found near Bodie Island Lighthouse

I found a silver bracelet with a single turquoise bead near the Bodie Island Lighthouse parking area this afternoon around 2:30pm. It’s a 7.5-inch sterling silver piece with a simple lobster clasp and a subtle wave pattern etched along the outside. The turquoise bead is a bright sky blue with natural veining, and there’s a tiny dolphin charm dangling from the clasp. Inside the clasp I can faintly see the initials 'A.M.' The bracelet looks gently worn but still in good condition. If this belongs to someone, I’d really love to help get it back to its owner.

It's a 7-inch wave-pattern bracelet with a tiny seashell charm and a turquoise bead, and the back of the clasp is engraved with the initials 'AK'. The piece is in decent condition, a little beach-worn but still shiny, with the shell charm showing a gentle patina. If the owner sees this, I’d love to return it; I know it probably has sentimental value.
