Lost medication bottle on the OBX beach near Bodie Lighthouse
I was walking the beach in the Outer Banks around 7:15 this morning, just after sunrise, when I realized my medication bottle was missing from my tote. I must have left it along the soft sand near the Bodie Island Lighthouse parking area, where the dunes slope down to the water. This medication helps with my everyday routine, and I’m anxious about missing a dose while we’re on vacation. If you found it, I’d be grateful to know it’s safe—my rental near the lighthouse makes it important I have it handy.
Found organizers on Outer Banks boardwalk.
I was strolling the Outer Banks boardwalk by the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse around 6:20 PM last Friday when I spotted a tote left on a bench. It had a stack of organizers for an event—binder dividers, calendars, a few name badges. It did not look mine, so I picked it up and brought it here for safekeeping. The owner will recognize its contents, and I hope they claim it soon. The Outer Banks area is beautiful at dusk, and I am glad to have helped.
Red knit Santa hat with blue snowflake embroidery
I lost my red knit Santa hat yesterday around 3pm near the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills. It’s a red knit with white faux-fur trim, about a medium fit, and there’s a tiny blue snowflake embroidered on the cuff. I tucked a pine-scent sachet inside, so you might notice a little pine smell if you grab it. It’s a sentimental keepsake from our family Christmas trip to the Outer Banks, and I’d be really grateful to get it back. If found, email [email protected].
