FOUND: Student ID in Oneonta
I found a Student ID lying on the sidewalk by the Oneonta Public Library on Main Street around 6:45 PM Friday. It clearly isn't mine, and I imagine the owner is probably stressing about losing it. The card has a photo and a name; I tucked it into my pocket for safekeeping and posted here to help reunite it with its owner. The glow of streetlights and the autumn breeze made this feel like a small-town moment, and I hoped a quick reunion would ease someone’s worry.
Lost Train near Oneonta Amtrak Station
Yesterday at 1:15 p.m., I realized my son's toy Train went missing while we were waiting outside the Oneonta Amtrak Station on Main Street. It is a small brass engine with a red caboose and a handle that has been worn smooth from years of play. It was a gift from my grandfather, and it has become our little family ritual to run it along the curb after trips. If you've seen something like this around the station area, I'd be grateful for any help in getting it back.
Dark blue U.S. passport with Great Seal
Yesterday around 3pm I realized my dark blue U.S. passport was missing somewhere around the Oneonta Public Library on Main Street. It's a standard passport booklet, navy blue cover, with a small coffee stain along the bottom edge and a slightly bent corner from being tucked in a wallet. I keep it for international trips and it's essential for my travel plans, so I’m really worried about the delay if it isn’t found. If anyone turned it in or picked it up, please let me know—there's a sentimental value attached as it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’ll be forever grateful to get it back.
Blue passport in a black leather cover
I lost my blue passport in a black leather cover yesterday around 3pm outside the Oneonta Public Library on Main Street. It’s a US passport issued last year, with a small coffee ring on the back cover and a faint dent on the lower-right corner. Inside the cover is a laminated photo of my grandfather that I kept for luck when I travel. I have a trip next week and really need it back. If you found it, email [email protected] so we can arrange a quick, safe handoff near the library or at the Starbucks on Main Street. Thanks for keeping an eye out—this thing is priceless to me.
