Lost appliances from kitchen in Northwest KS

I was rushing to get coffee at 8:20 a.m. on Sunday when my kitchen appliances vanished from the countertop. I left my apartment on 2nd Avenue in Hays, Kansas, in Northwest Kansas, for just a moment, and when I came back, the white microwave, a coffee maker, and a compact blender were gone. The counters feel so bare without them, and I’ve been scrambling to replace basic daily essentials, which has me frustrated and anxious. If you saw them around the building or in a nearby yard, please let me know—I’m clinging to hope that they’re simply misplaced and not far away.

Found wrist watches near the county fairgrounds, Northwest KS

While walking the gravel path by the county fairgrounds in Northwest Kansas around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, I found a wristwatch lying face up near a bench. It’s a stainless steel case with a navy fabric strap and a small scratch on the crystal. I tucked it into my bag and started this listing because I know how a simple watch can carry memories and daily routines back home. If this belongs to you, the worn strap and that tiny scratch may help you recognize it; I hope whoever wore it last sees this and claims it.

LOST: Gym Clothes in Northwest KS

I lost my Gym Clothes in Northwest KS, Kansas, United States after basketball practice at the Colby Rec Center gym around 7:50 PM last Friday. I had them in a red gym bag with my initials, along with a black hoodie and gray sweatpants. I remember setting the bag near the doorway by the bleachers and rushing out as the lights clicked off. If someone found them, please know they’re important to me for practice and routine, and I’d be grateful to get them back.

Found driver's license in northwest Kansas

Last night around 7:45 PM, as I walked along Fort Hays Drive behind Fort Hays State University in northwest Kansas, I spotted a driver's license lying on the edge of the sidewalk by the campus parking lot. The card looked freshly issued and the photo showed a student with a bright smile. I can't imagine how that owner feels, so I held onto it and kept it out of sight until I could post here. Fingers crossed someone can claim it soon.

Lost train near Fort Hays State University.

I was leaving Fort Hays State University around 8:15 pm last Friday when I realized I had lost my small toy train from my tote. It's a metal engine, blue with a thin red stripe, part of a set I’ve kept since high school. I’d been showing it to a friend near Forsyth Library on campus, and I must have set it down on a bench while we talked. The moment I realized it was gone hit hard — a mix of nostalgia and worry about letting the family tradition fade. If someone happened to have found a lone blue engine near the Forsyth Library steps, I’d be grateful to have it back.

Lost trading cards from my collection

Hi, I’m Maya Collins. I lost a small binder full of trading cards—mostly baseball and fantasy cards—during last Friday’s community event. It happened around 7:45 PM near the Main Street Gazebo in downtown Northwest KS, close to the old water tower by the library. The binder is tan with a red zipper and has a label that reads 'Kellum Collection' on the front. I’m sick with worry; some of these cards were gifts from my dad and a few are pretty rare. I’d be grateful to get it back. Please pass it through the site if you’ve seen it, and I’ll meet you to pick it up as soon as possible.

Found kittens in Northwest Kansas

Hi, I’m Mason Reed. I found a litter of kittens this morning around 8:20 a.m. near Prairie Dog State Park’s entrance in northwest Kansas. They were meowing by the roadside, tucked under a bush, clearly hungry and a little scared. I brought them to safety on my porch, kept them warm, and checked for any signs of a mother nearby, but I couldn’t find one. I’d like to reunite them with their owner or help them find a good home. If these kittens belong to you or you know someone missing a litter, please let the site know.

Found guitars near Colby City Park, NW KS

I was walking the gravel path by Colby City Park around 7:15 p.m. on Friday when I spotted a weathered guitar case tucked behind a fence along the bike trail. Inside were two acoustic guitars, one sunburst and one natural wood, plus a frayed strap and a faded gig bag. They looked well-used but cared for, and I knew I had to do the right thing and bring them here so the owner could find them. I can only imagine what a shock it is to lose instruments you rely on, and I hope this helps reunite you with your guitars soon.

Sheet Music left behind in Northwest Kansas

I lost my sheet music folder in Northwest Kansas around 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the community center by Main Street. It contains pieces I’ve been rehearsing for a small local gig and a few markings from my mentor. I retraced my steps to the library steps and the sidewalk outside the center, but it wasn’t there. If someone found it, please hand it in to the lost-and-found so I can pick it up and keep playing.

Lost: 'Wild and Domestic' in Northwest KS

On Tuesday around 4:30 p.m., I was browsing the Oakley Main Street Market when I realized my paperback 'Wild and Domestic' was missing from my tote. I hurried back through the aisles, past the grain elevator and the old soda shop, hoping to spot it on a shelf or a chair, but it was gone. The book is a gift from my grandmother, and it’s become a small source of comfort during long harvest season in this part of Kansas. If it turns up, I’ll swing by to pick it up and share a cup of thanks with whoever found it.

Found holiday decorations in Northwest Kansas

I was tidying up the Goodland Community Center foyer around 7:20 PM last Friday after the Christmas festival, and a tote tucked behind a chair caught my attention. Inside were holiday decorations: string lights, garlands, and a wreath with a bright red ribbon. I felt a mix of curiosity and relief—these looked like something a neighbor had been planning to display for a family gathering. I brought the tote to the front desk and posted it here, hoping the owner will recognize the keepsakes and claim them through the site. Sometimes small things like these carry a lot of memories, and I’m glad to help reunite them.

Lost Travel Visas in Northwest KS

I was refueling at the rest area off I-70 near Colby around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday when I realized my Travel Visas were missing from a brown leather folder with a red spine. Those documents are essential for my upcoming trip, and I kept the folder in the passenger seat. I searched the rest area, asked at the shop, and retraced my steps to the parking lot, but nothing turned up. The clock is ticking, and I'm worried about being delayed. If anyone saw a brown folder or the contents, please leave a note on the site. Your help would mean the world to me.

Navy blue evening gown with beaded neckline

I lost my navy blue evening gown yesterday around 5:15pm. It's a floor-length Eliza J dress, satin belt with a small silver buckle, and a beaded neckline that catches the light. I think I had it near the Fox Theatre on Main Street in Hays, Northwest KS, after the charity gala let out. It's a size US 6, and inside the lining there's a tiny embroidered label with the initials 'A.H.'—plus the belt buckle has a slightly scuffed silver finish. It means a lot to me—this dress was a gift from my aunt—and I'm really hoping someone picked it up and will return it.

Black Ray-Ban round glasses with blue case

I lost my black Ray-Ban round glasses yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart Supercenter on East 41st Street in Hays, KS. They're black acetate frames with a slim gold bridge, about medium width, and the inside of the right temple has initials 'A.K.' engraved. They came with a blue zip pouch and a light-blue hard case; the case has a small dent in the corner. The lenses are in decent shape, but there's a faint smudge on the left lens. I really need them back—these are my day-to-day glasses for work and reading, and they've been with me for years.
