Hi, I am Sophia Romano. I lost my violins last Tuesday around 3:15 PM near the Yale School of Music on College Street, just outside the campus library steps. They were in a black hard-shell case with a red ribbon around one handle, and the other case has a small scratch along the edge. I had been practicing a piece for a recital and was heading toward Whitney Avenue when I realized the cases weren’t with me. These violins carry memories of my grandfather, and I am hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe.
