Lost CDs near Music Man Square, Mason City
Hey there, I’m Alex Martinez. I lost a batch of CDs this afternoon near Music Man Square in Mason City. It was 4:30 PM on Friday; I had them in a black zip pouch with a small red sticker, and I was sitting on a bench outside the square to charge my phone before heading to the library. I might have left the pouch on the concrete pedestal by the street corner or tucked it into my backpack. Those CDs include irreplaceable live recordings from last year, and I’m anxious about retracing my steps. If someone found them, please let the site know so I can reclaim them.

I found a blue Penguin Classics paperback this afternoon around 2:15pm, lying near the bike racks by the Mason City Public Library on 2nd Street. It's about 320 pages, with a bent spine and a small coffee ring along the back. Inside the front cover, someone drew a tiny pencil sun and the initials 'A.P.' in the margin, and there's a dog-eared page 42 with a faded sticker tucked there. The cover shows a few scuffs but it's in decent shape overall. I’d love to reunite it with its owner—books like this feel sentimental.
