Lost postcards near Percival's Island, Lynchburg
Hi, I'm Grace Mitchell. I lost a stack of postcards during a weekend wander in Lynchburg. I last had them at 4:15 PM Saturday, sitting on a bench near the Riverfront Park overlook along Jefferson Street, with the James River flashing blue beyond the railing. The cards are a mix of vintage seaside views and grainy street scenes, some ink faded, others still bright. A thin red string bound them together; I included a photo of a lighthouse from Percival's Island Trail. They aren’t valuable beyond memory, but they mean the world to me. If they turn up on a bench or in a tote along the Riverwalk, I’d be grateful to know they’re back in circulation.

I was getting ready for movie night in my apartment on College Street in Lynchburg, around 8:45 PM on Friday, when my stack of DVDs vanished from the coffee table. The set includes a beloved copy of Casablanca and a sci‑fi box set I picked up last semester. I had just stepped outside to take out the trash near Riverfront Park, and I came back to an empty shelf.
