I lost my red canvas tote bag yesterday around 3pm outside the Publix on South Florida Avenue, near Munn Park in Lakeland. It’s about 14 inches tall and 12 inches wide, with a navy zipper and a tiny white enamel compass pin on the strap. If you peek inside, you’ll find a light-blue sketchbook with my initials and a crumpled note from my grandmother—it’s sentimental and I really need it back. Keep an eye out and if you found it, drop me a message here, or reply to this listing—I'd be eternally grateful.
I lost my blue glucose meter kit yesterday around 3pm near the Publix on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland. It's a compact OneTouch meter inside a blue zip case about the size of a paperback, with a small dent on the bottom-right corner and a white sticker that says 'Mom's Care.' The kit includes the meter, a handful of test strips, and a spare lancing device. It means a lot to me because it's part of my daily health routine and I really need it back to keep my diabetes under control. If anyone found it, please let me know—it's essential for my day-to-day management and I’d be grateful to get it back.
I was at Lakeland's Lake Mirror Park yesterday around 3pm, near the splash pad by the boat rentals when I realized my blue Nike swim trunks were missing from my bag. They're men's size Large, electric blue with a black side panel and an orange Nike swoosh on the left leg. The red drawstring is still there, and there's a tiny fray along the back pocket. They were a gift from my sister and have sentimental value — I wore them on every summer trip. If anyone found them, please drop a note here or message me; I’d really appreciate getting them back.
Money lost at the Central Florida Gun Show held at Sun & Fun Sat, Jan 17 was turned into the show sponsor. You must know the amount and very distinctive packaging it was in to claim.
I’m hoping someone picked up my hand-painted ceramic vase yesterday around 3pm near the Lakeside Village plaza off S Florida Ave in Lakeland, by Hollis Garden. It’s about 8 inches tall, ceramic with a glossy cobalt blue glaze and tiny white speckles. The neck has a delicate carved leaf pattern and there’s a small hairline crack on the rim I worry you’d miss. The bottom bears a faint stamp 'Studio L-9' and a pencil inscription 'E.L.' It’s sentimental to me—a gift from my grandmother—and I’d really appreciate getting it back if you found it.
I found a blue and yellow budgie this afternoon around 2:15 pm near the Lake Mirror boardwalk by the downtown Lakeland gazebo. It's small, about 5 inches from beak to tail, and has a light blue leg band on the right leg with the numbers 742. The bird is active, chirps happily, and seemed hungry, so I kept it on a perch nearby and offered a bit of millet I carry for pets. There's a tiny white patch on the left wing and a minor nick in the tail feather—easy to spot if you're searching for it. If this bird belongs to you, please message me with the leg-band number and a recent photo or where you last saw it; I want to help get it home.
I found a navy blue Samsonite suitcase this afternoon around 2:15 pm outside the Lakeland Public Library on Lake Mirror Drive. It's a medium-sized hard-shell case with scuffed corners and a red luggage tag that reads 'Festival 2019' plus a bright yellow road-trip sticker on the outside. The wheels look worn and there's a small dent on the bottom edge, but the zipper still zips smoothly. Inside, there are a few outfits and a travel-sized toiletries bag—nothing that clearly identifies the owner. There’s also a laminated card tucked in the pocket with a partially visible name, but I didn’t want to pry. If this belongs to you, I’d love to help get it back—meet near the library fountain and we can sort it out.
I found a gray canvas tote bag with pink interior this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the Publix on Florida Avenue, near the Lakeland Public Library. It's a medium-sized tote, about 14 by 12 inches, with a sturdy zipper and slightly frayed bottom corners. Inside there's a laminated photo of a golden retriever named Milo and a teal tassel keychain shaped like a compass. The bag is in decent condition, no personal electronics visible. I think it belongs to someone downtown, maybe who shops for crafts. If this is yours, I’d really like to help get it back.
Found a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses this afternoon around 4:15pm near the Munn Park gazebo on Main Street in Lakeland. They’re tortoise shell with black arms, and there’s a tiny star engraving on the inside of the left temple plus a small scratch on the right lens. They came with a black microfiber pouch that's a bit frayed at the corner. Looks like they were worn recently but still in good condition. If these belong to you, the initials A.R. and the time they went missing might help — I’ll figure out a safe way to hand them back.
I found a pair of grey Nike running shoes this morning around 7:50am. They were sitting on the curb behind the Publix on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland, near Joker Marchant Stadium. It’s a men’s size 9, with bright lime green laces and a small scuff on the outer edge of the right shoe. The mesh is a bit faded from wear, and the soles show light tread wear, but they’re otherwise in good shape. I figured someone might be missing them after a run in this area. If these belong to you, I’m happy to return them—perhaps we can meet near the Publix entrance or the bus stop by the stadium to hand them off.
